When opening movies with VLC everything was good today. Tonight when I open a Movie I get sound but no picture. Any ideas how to fix?

Allow me to hyjack this topic since he solved his problem. Does anybody know of avideo capture program that lets me record videos taht I am playing?

I ahve watched a few great porn vids, but I cannot captrue them...

All the browser add ons that downloaded video seem to have stopped working for me. But, if you stream a video it ends up in your browser's cache and you can save the file from there. You'll have to use google to determine how to access your particular browser's cache.

I find Bullents screen recorder excellent and easy to use.

On most computers the DVD plays in hardware overlay which means that many screen capture applications cannot see it to capture it. Far faster anyway to rip the content from the DVD and convert to a format for say iPod. To rip to copy it there are many applications designed for that.

 

Even if screen capture worked it takes 2 hours to capture 2 hours. Ripping is far faster than that.

 

So is buying a bootleg at Tukcom for $3.

I have realplayer on my laptop, which usually allows me to record most videos I watch on the net.
