A Walk Along Pattaya 3rd Road.

Recommended Posts

It's kind of a boring street compared to many in Pattaya, but it does have a lot more Thai entertainment venues than most.

This place, Rong Park, is someplace I've been wanting to go some night...it's a Thai nightclub with live music that looks pretty popular.

Thanks for the pics firth1974, I've been to Pattaya a few times, but never seen 3rd road. I always try to see new parts of Pattaya with each trip, but I always end up visiting the beer bars, go gos, massage parlors etc...

I am used to fighting my way through the traffic on 3rd road...photos must have been taken early doors and not at rush hour.

Try not to go to Thai venues any more as the few i have frequented (trying to impress a girl) have always ended up with warm beer and ice cubes. Not my style.

Good pics. Since I live east of 3rd Road I walk or bike it regularly enroute to the bars, malls and beach. Did you purposely skip pass Bliss? :)

3rd Road is quite long from Naklua to South Pattaya with many Thai buffets, Thai bars, fishing parks, golf driving range, discos, etc...that are not frequented by many short-term holiday makers, but can broaden ones Pattaya experiences (if one wants).

Thanks again for taking the time and making the effort to share another part of Pattaya.

If the second pic is of the shop on the corner of Lengkee and Third Rd then the proprietor of that electrical and hardware shop in the first photo is the rudest, most ignorant Thai I have ever encountered. Even Thai people say the same thing. It's a mystery how it got to be as big as it is with an attitude like his
