why would anyone want to book thru someone they don't have any come backs on...

 

its so easy now to book with the hotel on the web..

 

 

Any one ever heard of the fly drive scam......

 

they let you believe they are booking you into a 5 star hotel and when you drive there its the motel over the road your booked into thats cost you the price of a 5 star hotel.

Could be a garden-variety time-share arrangement, which is pretty much a scam in and of itself, but the lack of detail in the OP does indeed make it seem suspect.
