Question about the white baht buses that travel on Sukhumvit Pattaya. How far north and south do they go and what are the charges, any other info welcome too.Thanx.

They seem to go a long way, I have seen them at the 36 junction and can guess they are going at least to Laem Chabang. I think I gave 20 baht each time I went from the Ford dealer in Jomtiem to Klang, but really don't want to ride them farther.

I think I have spotted them near Ban Chang - but not sure if they go all the way to Pattaya.

Better to go with Hammer and Bushcraft though. :D

The ones from Banchang to Rayong City are red.

I think the ones from Banchang to Sattahip are orange.

I thought I'd add that if you're in Banchang and want to catch a big bus to Rayong you can't, because the Song Taaw (Baht Bus) drivers have chased the buses away from picking up passengers on that side of Sukhumvit.

You can get a bus going West, since there's are more than one spot selling tickets and boarding passengers.
