News cover up ?

I check pretty much on a daily basis the exchange rate movement on pattaya-funtown website, while there a couple of days ago, I looked at the news section and saw an article about a 24 & 25 year old Russian women being raped by 3 Thai men ! I thought this will go down well with the Kremlin, and the tourist agency threatening to pull out of pattaya. I usually check the news on Pattaya One website, but there is no mention of it, I have checked for the last 5 days and the story has never appeared, the only other site with the story is Pattaya Daily news. it seems strange that the story would be buried, when blood, snot, sex & violence are covered on a daily basis.

 

Anyone heard anything of this story ?

I saw that story as well. Just doing a Google search, I found it here http://www.pattayadailynews.com/en/2013/12/26/3-thai-men-raped-2-russian-women/ so it is still out there. But I'm not seeing any other sources. The other links in the results point to this single source.

Two seperate incidents of rape by 3 Thais on 2 Ruskies. Wonder if the same group is responsible for both.

The others were tried, convicted, and sentenced. But strange that both happened around Christmas. Initially I wondered if it was simply an old story reposted with a new date, but the details were different.

The news can vanish in Thailand if it makes someone look bad, try to find the story about the condo sales office in Jomtien being shot up on a regular basis, and high def video of the shooter being available, but the headline was" Poilce not interested in investigating", makes the bib look lazy and corrupt, so the story was pulled.

If you mean the condo office being shot up, I saw that reported on a Pattaya One News report on Sophon TV.
