Sorry, I have no idea what the name name for this place is, ive always known it has Big Buddha Hill.

 

 

Took a nice long walk up here a few weeks ago with BM Bazle. Down walking Street, around Bali Hai and the Marina, and then up the hill, around the Weather station and finally made it to Big Buddha. Its no where near as far as I thought it was, so no excuse for notdoing this walk again sometime soon.

There is also the Wat, radio tower and overlook on the other side of the road. Great views of Pattaya from there.

Yes, worth the effort.

I got a motorcycle taxi up to the lookout on top. There are great views as well as a shop selling Thai military items like caps etc.Then walked down to the buddha and beautiful gardens. Then found a baht bus operating back to Pattaya. I guess there are baht buses to the top but not sure where they start. Perhaps the baht bus stop on 2nd Rd and Sth Pattaya Rd.

I've been up that hill a few times and it's a bit of a twilight zone up there. I've seen the stuff in the posted photos and then some but I've seen other photos of an area I haven't been to before.

 

Are there 3 or 4 different areas up there

 

I'll try and find some photos of where I went and post them later.

I always make a point to make a visit up to Buddha hill and the Chinese gardens great views over jomtien up where the buddhas are. And from lookout the views over pattaya are awesome thanks for posting.
