Hi Firth

Thanks for posting mate. I've been meaning to ask the type of camera you're using, is it a simple digital camera or a DSLR job?. If it's a digital camera then it takes bloody good snaps!.

Looking at WS during the daytime often makes me think and wonder what time the transition takes place between being a deserted, silent street with closed doors to a party capital within a few hours. I've never sat and watched the transition occur, either there or on any of the Sois , for some reason it all happens when I'm having a shower and getting ready to go out in the evening or when I'm eating dinner. One minute stools up on the bars, then next time I look they're full of girls, loud music and punters. Very odd, I must semi hibernate or something...

great pics,

Cheers

Butch

Hi Butch,

Thanks for the compliments.

The camera is nothing special at all. Im just using a Nikon P90.(A bridge camera, inbetween pocket camera and a DSLR). One day, soon i hope, i'll upgrade to a Nikon "D" DSLR series or a Canon DSLR.

The last 7 or 8 shots were actually taken on my iPhone, as my battery died on me!

Nice pics. Last time I walked around Pattaya taking pictures, all the pictures from the beach area seemed to be a bit hazy. Maybe that's just the typical light. Anyway, I didn't try to adjust any of them in a photo editor. Maybe I'll post a few some time. Or maybe I already have? Can't remember.

Re the picture taken inside the Baht Bus, I took a picture of the ‘Rocket Ball’ ad. I thought a go on the ‘reverse bungee’ would be just to job at 4am after a good night on the pop, but (fortunately) I always found something better to do.

I took the following at Big C. The ‘Coffee World’ there employs a couple of ladyboys and the one genuine lady there always reminds me of Cinderella. i.e she does the work whilst the, shall we say, ‘slightly less attractive sisters’ look on. The photo shows the adjacent and slightly worryingly named ‘Cream and Fudge’, which also employs a ladyboy – hence the ‘fudge’ I guess.

Actually I find ladyboy's much better at customer service than regular girls. There's one at our local Starbucks in SM Southmall, Cavite ,who is actually running the gaff with a startling amount of professionalism. Same goes for the Yellow Cab Pizza co locally, despite being a cashier "she" takes on responsibilities and duties well beyond "her" remit and achieves them with impressive results.

It's possible to do much worse.

The iphone pics are bloody good as well. much better than the ones my HTC one takes.

I really do need to get myself a decent pocket digital camera. My last one, a Nikon Coolpix packed up within a fortnight, the lens cover stopped closing and the shop just refunded my money. I admit though, Nikons do take good pics but for some reason (probably user error) I could never get "action" shots to come out without blurring, and very often when I took a pic at nighttime or in low light it was way too dark.

I didn’t intend my post to be a criticism of all ladyboys. I was only referring to the specific ladyboys who are at the one particular location I mentioned in #8.

Similar to your experience of ladyboys, there have been a good number of ‘regular girls’ who have given me good customer service.

Apologies for any misunderstanding.
