It's definitely finished for P O R in Pattaya. From their FB page:

I'm sad to see it go. The combination of a location that was inconvenient except for those who lived in walking distance; premium prices and a narrowly U.S. menu probably did them in. It makes more sense to sell their products to other restaurants than struggle to operate a retail outlet.

Anyone know of a restaurant in central Pattaya that offers a Reuben sandwich other than the Golf Club on LK Metro?

I'm in crisis that I don't have them for breakfast any more. Now, English brekkie with an embalmed tomato just doesn't make it.

I was a regular customer that hated to see them go also. Maybe another similar restaurant will open in Jomtien.

I made my way to Rich Man, Poor Man near the beach entrance to Jomtien Soi 9 this morning. Had a quite good omelet with ham and cheese. Also, their kitchen opens at 7am. It's not as convenient as Pastrami on Rye, but still looks like it will be worth an occasional return visit for breakfast.

RMPM is a good old down home American food spot.

I'm attaching some pictures of the various, delicious meals I have had there.

Sandbar By the Sea , on the Dongtan Beach side road could also be an option ..

when I stayed at VT5 , I alternated between Pastrami and Sandbar for breakfasts.

One of the partners has re-opened with Big Kahuna Burger & doing pretty much the same kind of food.

I've tried the cuban sandwich & the burger, both were real tasty ;)

Good luck to the lad for having the balls to carry on, I wish him & the place success.

There are a few vaguely Hawaiian items with pineapple or spam, hence the name.

He has also added a few Thai dishes as well as an English breakfast. The English breakfast looks good although I haven't had it.

As before, the pancakes are outstanding. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy dropped off the menu.

Its hard to find good corned beef in Thailand, but the Reuben was good at P on R
