The best food in Pattaya as for price/quality/value. A refreshing contrast to the Retox/Robin Hood clan...

Not to threadfuck but I like the Retox bahtbuster breakfast. :-)

Everybody does. Have no clue, why, honestly. I don't like English breakfast. I don't eat beans in the morning nor potatoes. Don't like black pudding and don't like everything dripping of oil.

Same same. I went in there on sufferance last Thursday as my mate likes it. I had a pint of guiness, which is only marginally more expensive than the soda water..... and the servers were as surly as ever

I loved the original Bite Me from mid morning into a late afternoon. The food, the girls and Peter made it a great social place to eat and chill out.....I am hoping against hope that nothing has changed with the Retox influence on the customer side...

One way to find out guys! ;)

Only difference is Apple is away in England so she's no longer here to put stroppy customers in their place :)

Otherwise the two cousins Lek and Nok are handling kitchen and service together, while we try to find someone half competent to back them up. Which is one reason we are doing 6 day weeks at the moment, shutting Sundays for now...

The Areca is not far away and on my first or second day I will be a customer. (More likely day two as no doubt other human needs will dominate my first day).

I don't hate British Chinese - whatever is that mean - my dislike to WokNRok is based on the food I ate there. I rest my case, however, since chicken tikka is widely considered as a national British dish...

Chow Mein is American Chinese but tastes good. I doubt most foods remain exactly as made in original cultures. Is American Japanese, Italian, German, etc the same as going to those countries? What matters is if it tastes good.

I had the pork tenderloin filet today and it was delicious. It's the first time I've been back since the reboot, and I'm glad to see that the quality is as good as ever.

In fact I'll say that the cook looks much better than the last one!

I've noticed in your pic, and in countless establishments in LOS, that a ribeye doesn't include the ribeye bone. I love sticking my tongue in there and sucking the juice out of it......I presume it has to do with import regulations

I don't think I have ever had a bone in a rib-eye steak!

I have,.it is just prime rib cut into slices in advance.

Well I have certainly had a few prime ribs and enjoyed them.....

Can't eat the bone myself, nor have I got a dog, so if I buy by weight (I avoided using kilo or pounds as that would confuse) no bone thanks. I was surprised by what looked like good steaks in BigC-X the other day. Best steak for me has always been one I cooked myself at home.

I think most butchers trim off the bone here in California. I prefer NY strip myself but love prime rib. Trimming here costs you. Not sure about you guys. For instance, per pound, NY strip with a bone is cheaper than NY strip without the bone. Just the way our markets do it. Extra labor cost I think. Same with pork chops.

If you're in the mood for a bone in rib steak, head over to Livv's on the Darkside.
