I am not up on my forum lingo. Here is what I mean:

I just added the .GIF file same way as attaching a .JPG file..

So you want to attach a .gif into your signature?

 

Go into "My profile" and "Edit my Profile" click on "signature". That will bring up a box where you can edit your signature..... You should be able to add an image by clicking the image button and entering the URL of the image.

That's lovely... but nothing too naughty in case you want to post in the 'OPEN' area of the board.

 

For those that may have young shoulder surfers around, there is the ability to 'Ignore' signatures under your moniker, top right of page.

This is what the forum rules say with regards to "Avatars" and "Signatures"

 

 

8. No photos or special characters in your signature line please.
9. Avatars should be PG rated only. More racey ones can cause embarrassment to members when they have shoulder surfers.
