Reading the forum is near impossible for me due to the small font size 

is it something I’ve done.

Laptop or mobile?

On laptop most browsers have a zoom in function.

Have a look at the topic linked below. The High Contrast Chrome extension I recommend in my post helps quite a bit. The next post has another suggestion on how to set your preferred font.
