Yes you could be right. I rode past yesterday and closer up the fixture looks more temporary.

I make them smaller beforehand, and use a 'temp folder' to put them in. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager on my old laptop, Edit, Compress, and Documents options.

These are available in many places, Tesco for example. I struggle to find the 'Original' flavour which I find the best for a sore dry throat. The obscure (to me, in reality newer) flavours seem to be more popular here, cherry, mint and the like which seem to be useless for the purpose they were intended and are more like a kid's sweet. The Aniseed flavour is nice (tan/yellow pack), although they say anise is used I wonder if there is any synthetic additive too. I always bring half a dozen packs of original back with me from my UK trips... the factory they originated from is not far from my birthplace.

I am a little confused by that new pedestrian crossing. There appear to be steps to get up and down right in the middle, ie on the top of the tunnel, An area I thought would be for traffic turning right in and out of the junctions like Klang and Soi Siam CC/Nerm Plab Wan. Has anyone seen a plan of the proposed end result yet? Perhaps they could put a roundabout there, we know how well those work in Pattaya.

I kinda think you are right, the 3 Mid-East Carriers prices do seem to be all close together when in the past one has always pipped the others. Last year I jumped on a Qatar special offer of Biz for 63,420 (the fare portion was only 31870). That was them trying to fill their planes up as many passengers had avoided them during the airport construction. (I guess). Later Edit:. I see Qatar and Emirates are popping up at the top in Skyscanner now. Priced at around 88-89,000 Baht pushing Finnair down the list. Nearly time to book.

Well neither has the beer garden and many other places. Fine this time of year but I doubt I would eat there on a hot April afternoon. -

I agree and hope the same. I like US comfort food although eat it rarely as I don't need the kilos.... And although EP felt the ribs were not out of line at 460 baht I am used to getting them at home for substantially less. The Mrs does them well and and has found a few stalls where she can get the ribs not chopped into small pieces and with plenty meat left on them... Naklua market if early and Nerm Plab Wan if she is later. The portion of coleslaw looked derisory! I can't remember what I last paid at Lone Star for ribs but there they were substantial and had better sides. Great review EP. -

I just got an offer via email from Qatar Airways which works out at 88,130 baht, BKK-MAN Biz Class. (for May), have to book it before 17 Jan though.... I hate being pushed like that. The slightly cheaper price wrt Emirates is offset by the fact that Emirates supply limos at the Manchester end. (I am too far away at the BKK end to qualify). Although the Qatar A380 ex-BKK Biz Class Cabin is fantastic and there is a triple mileage deal, I was not impressed by the Emirates cabin, bus like layout and seats closer together. Etihad also sent me an email and are making many special offers, their Biz Class one does not suit me at 175,600, 2 for 1 offer, I don't need 2.
-
A quick check by me for a Biz Class fare to Manchester is 92,300 THB, Business Special ticket offering low miles and no upgrade, changes 6000 baht.. That is down about 10,000 baht from last time I priced it....so not 20%. Emirates offer plenty of options of timings as they have a lot of daily flights. I guess the A380 Manchester legs will be on the new configuration without 1st and densely packed economy.

The connection I looked at was only 45 minutes ex-BKK, and 2.5 hrs the other way, seems good. Just not keen on early morning departures from Thailand and arriving late afternoon in time for UK rush hour! I think another option had me stuck in Helsinki for 15 hours and then on a FlyBe (Fly-maybe) flight to Manchester, no way!
-
Yes Turkish and Finnish are coming up as cheaper Biz options, but I am a pernickety customer! Turkish have good timings but I have a worry over the Istanbul transfer and via Helsinki the timings to UK aren't good. KLM and China, yes, but back on that crappy little flight from Amsterdam to Manchester! Swiss.... they used to pop up some time ago and I was worried they were going bankrupt, don't seem to pop up now. In the past one of my 3 favourites always came up with some super saver offer for a spring flight, Etihad, Qatar or Emirates.... would be very happy to be on the Qatar A380 again.

It says it does on the spec.......and AIS confirmed the phone and SIM card were 4G compliant. Anyhow, it was a free trial offer which I believe ends in a few days.
-
Further to this I wonder MM if AIS will be worth sticking with! They didn't do very well in the recent 4G bandwidth auctions. I went into Telewiz in BigC-X to ask why my LTE did not work and basically got fobbed off to the point I felt pissed off. Then my Mrs goes to her home village and comes back complaining that her data access on AIS was rubbish there, yet her brothers were doing fine with DTAC and True, so much so my Mrs visited True and has applied to transfer her number over to them. I have a True SIM too and they are offering free data if I can get people to switch to them.
