The one that infuriates me, and it happens all the time.......is teh quick-cook plates arrive and are put on the table.... no rice yet..... and they appear to be waiting until the steamed fish is ready....many dishes are cold by the time you get some goof-ball to spoon out some rice from the big pot.

I think your opinion is biased a little because of it. It is sad that the industry presses you to be dependent on the largesse of others. Tipping hotel staff and waiters is one end of the spectrum.... travelling through greyer areas like giving money to the security staff here and there not to hassle you...and moving on to greasing palms generally. Employers most certainly can afford to pay more, particularly since they add a service charge anyway. If a person doesn't like their job, and the remuneration is poor, they should make efforts to improve their horizons. Please don't retort that I must be one of the cheap charlies out there as I do not believe I am. I just dislike being obligated and being told how to spend my money. Good post and point accepted that treating waiters politely should be the norm, I believe I do but will curb my occasional grumpy tendencies..

You should get a laptop....fuck you too!( I added a smiley above to temper your mood)

Well you posted it and then pointed it out when MM missed it...(despite it being boldfaced).Perhaps MM stands for Mr Magoo.........

Errr...... LY...it is film, actor, film, actor etc.....Just the one.......no need to give one of each.... M.A.S.H

Well this....today I was delayed at the early July and it was brought up at The Expats yesterday.

Well the happy hour cheap draft seemed to pull in what appeared to be a few Expats who were in the past.

That is good.... did you come straight in to land? Some discussion I heard recently suggested the runway condition may upset things again.

Bill Murray

Yes, wouldn't mind an update/summary on that. Still have the 2 for 1 on some bottles for ex?

So if some people can't read properly, I am rambling......... right. Beetlejuice

The Fly

Err...I put forward the film Bram Stoker's Dracula for the film Gary Oldman was in (post 1938)....Midlifecrisis made a valid post. This is just too confusing!!!!!

Hard to nail down but, for example, what would a cold bottle of San Mig Lite cost me at 9pm?

I don't think Gary Oldman was in the film The Firm. I know he was in Dracula...... (Full title, Bram Stoker's Dracula)

Any details of the happy hour specials please?

Scott Glenn

Ed Harris

Casey Affleck

When I looked it up, you had to send the phone in for a 'service' , $79 + $6.95 shipping.

Why, are people sleeping out in the back yard?

If it has an AGA wrapped around it most definitely.

Do they sell internal batteries?
