No, the ancient posts I looked at more than suggested that jjprodigy was using his quota daily to up Gabor. (He has outed himself).Quite indicative that his full +ve quota could not overwhelm the negatives Gabor could generate from others himself. I don't grasp why any would protest the rep system by abusing it, but I suppose I left my infant mentality behind with my bandy wobble walk. It takes all types to make up a world.

I have 2 of those Saijo Denki units and mine are reversible...ie they can heat too. (Well there is a HEAT selection on the remote although I have never needed to use it!). A gecko got inside one (had 3 once) and zapped it and itself and I couldn't get a replacement circuit board, so swapped it for a Samsung. Always felt my old Saijos to be better units than the Samsung.

I had been looking at posts where I think Gabor gave reputation rather than received. So my error.As you say it is obvious that a now 'no longer active' BM was in there padding Gabor's reputation. I am more intrigued to wonder how close this BM was to Gabor.........?

That sounds good, and I don't think you are coming off as a bad guy, perhaps a little impatient with those wishing to clarify things. As an Expat who is only allowed out once or twice a week, I tend to plan ahead and like to know what the deal is ahead of time. Beer bars are notorious for having varying rules and regs.

Stopped even trying to go there at weekends, last time I was seated on the outer edges and poorly served. They preferred attending the large parties. There are several seafood restaurants on that stretch of coast going as far as the 36 junction, but I like a scruffier place on Sukhumvit itself.

I recently got hit in the gut over an 'investment' that I had held for a couple of years and had reportedly been doing well..... reports can be deceiving, or a deception themselves. My own greed pressed me to leave the money there where it was 'doing well', supposedly. I may be less cocky on investment issues for a while.

When I arrived recently, about 6pm, we were stacked up for over 1/2 hour waiting to land. Reported to be busy, but it didn't look like it when we eventually landed. Immigration was light and quick (I used fast track but there were few people at the regular queues), but the wait for luggage was longer than normal at 20 minutes.

It would better serve customers if Etihad could mange to use only one terminal. ( A feat beyond BA!). To be honest at first I was pleased when arriving at T1, that there was no security check to get into the terminal, (and parked at the building jetway) but less pleased when at the lounge I was told the next flight was from another building.... the 10 minute walk I was told was optimistic too, irrespective of the crowding. I quite like Etihad, particularly the chauffeur cars supplied. But the poor ground handling would put me off and I would look at Qatar again....no limo and bussed to the building, but an excellent separate premium transfer.building. Anyone know whether Etihad have improvement plans.

I actually just flew back to Bangkok on Etihad, Biz Class from Manchester, departing Saturday night.The Airbus from Manchester was good, and the cabin looked like an upgraded one. I was less than happy with the transfer in Abu Dhabi, had to go from Terminal 1 to three and through a zoo scrum of security. There was separate security checks for Biz Class but in the bedlam it was being used by all. The queue was way back down the connection tube.Perhaps early AM is not a good time to transit Abu Dhabi. IFE on the second leg was problematic too.

While in the UK I used a dongle to get internet via the mobile phone network.(3G) In Thailand I can just connect my mobile phone to the laptop (via USB or bluetooth) and get onto the internet, I suppose a dongle can be bought too if you must. That is always GPRS or Edge and not very fast. I doubt my ADSL is good enough for video streaming.

That is scary stuff!

As many say, one mans meat is another's poison.The fact that MK is in there detracts from the others. Three coins has been recommended to me by a pal, but I considered the person as well. He lives extremely close,is not the type to walk very far and epitomises the English stodgy food type. Sorry I can't help. my favourite place is eating at home, and the few restaurants nearby that don't involve driving in town.
