Those pictures make it look quiet, they seem to have been taken about twilight..... I am guessing it would look different at 11pm. The TGF likes to go but for the 'Country Music' stage, but came home early last year disappointed. I stay home and grouch... I regret moving well out of town these days.

For an advance pre-paid non-refundable purchase you can get ฿4,845 / night. Otherwise it is about 6500 baht. Nice picture of a beach on the Hilton website.... I have no idea where that is but I don't think the Hilton has one, nor is that the one in front!

Can't remember if it was Qatar or Etihad who emailed me with some special offers.(Edit..it was Qatar).But it only applied to departures up to May 31st, ex Bangkok. Prices jumped 10k baht June 1st onwards. Yours above would be good for me but my needs come up at 104k baht now Little bit rich.

It was mentioned at my Expats Club meeting today that HSBC Thailand have sold all of their interests to The Bank of Ayudhya. This may impact you.Also a few others that posted how HSBC offered a free way to transfer funds to Thailand from other countries.

Singapore would be my choice but their Biz Class prices are way up there. The fact that they can price themselves so far above the competition says they have a faithful customer base. Pity about the stop in Germany. Two stop-overs is just wasting time for me. Even when I flew them economy I found the on board service good.
