They used to just charge 100-200 baht for the service.Generally you just phone the local office of the airline yourself, and ask for English, and do it yourself, but having a charge to pay makes that harder.

You are right regarding an Ozzy being better for advice.... this lady you called sounds useless. As I know it a Non-Imm O is good for either one 3 month entry, or a multiple, as many (3 month) entries as you like in the 12 month validity. The reason to be iussued the visa is 'extended stray'.... and countries vary as to how easily or likely they are to issue you with one. Good luck.

I believe we are still in Chonburi province there, I think it goes as far as Ban Chang, then you are into Rayong... but where it was registered should be apparent on the number plate. It has got plates hasn't it? Otherwise it will be in the green book. I don't think servicing garages supply certificates, it would be checked at the vehicle registration centre...where you transfer ownership. The one for Pattaya area is located on Hwy 36, near the 'motorway' (7) junction, next to the Regents school. Go North out of Pattaya on Sukhumvit, turn right onto 36 (for Rayong) about 10km past Klang. U-Turn after you see the school. There is also one in Chonburi City.

Yes, that is about right. I would expect the Hilton, Marriot, Sheraton etc etc to have smoke detectors, and unimpeded fire exits. Elsewhere, you will be lucky. Most discos are death traps, and some are going for the title a second time. You won't see many GO-GOs with a fire exit, in fact if a fire broke out at the entrance you would have to buy pitchers of beer to try and put it out.
