Hi. I would not hold to much hope of that my friend, it is the one time of the year where airlines can make a bit of Money. Even in July and August it has been difficult to find flights under £700 September and October they are much cheaper, i have my flights departs 14th October at £429, although i am thinking of going to pattaya Xmas 2008 but will go end of November until end of January should be able to get a flight for about £450.

Hi Guys I also have fond memories of the Beach View Hotel stayed there 10 times during the 90's but was so sad to see it decline into bad state. It was the Beach View that introduced me to North Pattaya and soi 2 bars. But now it has been completely renovated and not before time and has also become much more expensive with all rooms inexcess of over 1,000 baht per night. Although sometimes when i walked past i am sure the curtains are the same ones as the previous ones in Beach View.

Hi Tengotodo Have not stayed there but have often remarked about the place because it looks so clean. I stand corrected but i am sure it is girl friendly. I often eat at Juice Restaurant for excellent meals and is directly opposite the hotel.

Nice deal but not many dates available, will stick with Etihad -
Was thinking about flights in July and August NOT September Already have flights for October at £429 and February at £459

Hi Guys Glad to see Etihad have now reduced their fares at long last, i was very critical of their decision to end the Gatwick flights, and to introduce 2 daily flights from Heathrow. But now all is forgotten and i am now a registered Etihad member and have booked 2 flights with them to my liking with only 90min stop-overs. Dep 14th October at £429 to 10th December Dep 14th February at £459 to 27th March 2008

Hi Guys Thought christmas was here already, very difficult to find any flights under £700 for July and August. There were a couple around £675 with Qatar.

Hi Guys Been back now 14 days, next trip 95 days to go October 14th and another one on February 14th 2008. Both forthcoming trips with Etihad Airways Excellent low cost flights.

Hi Gus. Using Mr Toom this Sunday and yes 1200 baht including tolls. Also going to book my return pick-up Pattaya to Airport at 8am, last year booked my pick-up at 16.00 and his driver could not find my hotel on Soi Buakaow,we noticed he pasted the hotel 3 times but we managed to flag him down and we got away at 16.30 but it only took 90 minutes to get to the airport so all was fine after a bit of worry. Because it morning rush hour may consider bringing forward pick-up to 07.30 just in case of any problems.

Hi. Wise choice my friend i am flying TG911 on Saturday 9th June, i also like Thai Airways as you cannot beat non-stop and i paid £462 which i also considered was good price at the time. This will be first flight with them again having had a rest, and flying with Etihad Airways last 3 visits and stop-over in Abu Dhabi. But since the Gatwick flight was axed and with the useless 13.05pm departure from Heathrow EY012 with up to and over 10hr wait at Abu Dhabi plus cost lot more then Eva and Thai i am no longer interested in Etihad

Hi my Friends. I understand from rumours and i stress rumours because i have seen nothing on this forum or anywhere else that many airlines are far from happy with the running of the Bangkok new airport. I also hear there are still many problems with the airport and the airlines are ganging up to form some sort of action against it. Anyone have any further information or seen anything regarding this.
-
Also flying Thai Airways 3 weeks tomorrow Saturday £462, you can't beat going non-stop but i did not mind flying with Etihad because of good prices and very short stop-overs. But now Etihad has changed for the worst with higher prices and longer stop-over No thank you Etihad will fly with someone else.

Hi my friend, if you catch the 13.05pm service from Heathrow EY012 you arrive at Abu Dhabi after the Bangkok flight EY402 has gone so you now have to wait 10hrs until the morning flight at 09.00 arriving Bangkok 18.30pm. Not so bad coming back flights almost the same as before.

Jasmine Mansion Soi Baukaow
rainsberger replied to rainsberger's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Hi Kevin. Just brought this thread back to life after the attack on yourself and your hotel. As you know will be back very soon and am not worried about the reports on your hotel. I am sure and know you have a lot of followers who like myself have stayed at the Jasmine Mansion before and the reviews in this thread as anything proves that you have a good clean place. I am always looking at your web site and i for one do not think the rooms sizes are misleading. We all have our opinions on hotels we have stayed at even me, and i could name a few i have stayed at, but everyone to th -
Hi Chivas. Would like to think that is true, but there is nothing new on Etihad's own web site about reintroducing the Gatwick flight. Infact they can't even fill the seats on the Heathrow flights. Have gone up to October and no flight schedule's from Gatwick.
-
Not so sure about Etihad of late, overpriced and poor schedule from Heathrow. Used them few times from Gatwick and then was excellent airline.

Hi Guys. Well, i arrive back in Pattaya on June 10th for my 26th visit, with my first being in 1987. I have only missed i year since my first visit and that was millennium year 1999. Mostly go there in low season and have only been there for 1 Xmas and New year 2003. Have been there for 2 songkrans 1992 and 2005. Christ have i not seen so many changes in one city, i have seen pattaya grow up to what it is today. I have stayed at many hotels from the Island View down South, to Sunshine Garden up North. How many of you remember the good old Beach View Hotel Soi 2 North Pattaya, stayed

Hi Yes, you are right they were building up a loyal number of flyers me included, but they now seem more inclined to reep the rewards from us. I cannot believe being quoted over £620 for flight to Bangkok with a 10hr stopover in Abu Dhabi and June of all months when it is low season. My flight on June 9th with Thai Airways only takes 11hrs and 35min non-stop and is costing me £462.

Hi my Friend You can try Mr Toom he is very popular on this forum, and i use him myself. Send him email to toom39@msn.com His normal charge is 1200 baht.

Hi Omar. I like Etihad have flown with them 4 times now since they started September 2004 and all departing from Gatwick and i certainly miss that flight now it has finished from Gatwick. They now have 2 flights daily from Heathrow but the 13.05pm service is useless for connection to Bangkok, it arrives Abu Dhabi 23.45pm and EY402 leaves for Bangkok at 21.50 great so you have to wait until 9am next day for next connection. I am returning to Bangkok on Saturday 9th June but flying non-stop with Thai Airways at £462. Was quoted £720 with Etihad Departing Heathrow at 13.05pm with 10

East West travel BKK fare sale until 30th april
rainsberger replied to poskat's topic in Airline Discussion
Hi m8. The prices on the website and email of Westeast does not include any taxes, there is no way you will get tickets at those advertised prices. I have paid £462 to fly with Thai airways on a Saturday and i am over the moon with my price. I certanly don't think i have wasted my time. Aeroflot £370 say no more thank you, you can stick that airline i rather pay more. -

Hi my Friends. Yes, excellant rates have booked flight Saturday 9th June with Thai Airways at £462.00, Etihad wanted £720 and long wait in Abu Dhabi (Tuff) -
Hi m8. Etihad have finished flying from Gatwick to Bangkok (via Abu Dhabi) for me was a big mistake by them, Now flying from Heathrow at 13.05pm with awful connection to Bangkok 10hr Wait. Evening service at 21.15pm somewhat better but Etihad is now much more expensive. So on 9th June will be flying non-stop with Thai Airways at 12.30pm and arriving 06.05am Sunday, with Etihad would have cost £620 with Thai non-stop is £462.
