Steroid shots for the knee
midlifecrisis replied to midlifecrisis's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
Only been on Glucosamine Sulphate a few days and perhaps it is just the placebo effect but my pain, which is there initially when I walk, seems to be almost negligible. As I walk longer and longer the pain starts to return but not as bad as it was just days ago. The brand I got has Glucosamine and Hyaluronic acid. The latter is in the steroid injections I was mentioning in my original post. I have not had the need to take ibuprofen either. -
I can only to attest to that they are not here. More's the pity. Hurry up January!

Walking Street neon under threat?

It was a fair response. You did not pass what you were told off as your own. No shame in not knowing things and offering up what others have told us in response to our trying to learn things.

The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge Never read Pirsig. Sartre and existentialism. Camus was always classified as an existentialist but denied it. As to sex, I was not an intellectual. I wasn't a nihilist so I expect Camus might have accepted my hedonistic nature.

Steroid shots for the knee
midlifecrisis replied to midlifecrisis's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
Thanks more to add to my research and list to discuss with my doctor. The pain in my left knee has moved around over the years. Currently it is right below the knee cap. I ge swelling after I walk but that subsides. It is nagging and not excruciating and seems to be when I extend to the left and push off to the right. I do limp a bit when it nags me. As I walk longer, I seem to push through the pain but it takes a while. After a mile or so I feel a bit better (endorphins?). As I said, or think I noted earlier, I took 800 mg of ibuprofen at my daughter's wedding over four hours and had no pain. So I do think I can manage this. Just need to identify the best and safest formulary or procedure. I have made notations of your suggestions for further review. I appreciate it! -
Reputable and able to book me either by land or air to Siem Reap/Angkor Wat including transportation, hotel and whatever I need covered in advance. Understand the border visa may be separate as is park entrance. Also, heard of a route by land to the border and then river cruise north. Any info welcome. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the sonic boom at ground level must have been deafening.

Go back to what I posted earlier. Supersonic travel is restricted over the USA and Europe.Has been for decades. Try to keep up please. The FAA did this in the 70's. Could change. Trump could change it. Congress could fix it for good. http://reason.com/archives/2016/07/26/how-the-faa-killed-supersonic-flight https://thepointsguy.com/2016/12/supersonic-flights-over-land/ "It’s been over 40 years since the Federal Aviation Administration banned supersonic travel over the United States, but that could change if some members of Congress have their way."

Only because of the restrictions I pointed out. I remember back in the day there was this concern that sonic booms would keep cows from producing milk. In Europe, Germany to be precise, in 1984. Military jets all over. None of those broke the sound barrier? Was there a shortage of cow's milk in Germany during the Cold War? These jets fly at such altitude that by the time the sound reaches the ground it is not that loud. Yes you can hear it but that high up it just makes you turn to look. Sure, if there were hundreds of flights a day, perhaps there would be a reason to complain but a few flights a day? Really? This is the problem? A few flights a day? Especially if people pay extra for the extra speed? Nobody bitched when the space shuttles broke the sound barrier. I did not hear of one reasonable environmentalist that thought it was a problem. NASA has a big political hurdle to overcome. Perhaps nowadays Asia is open too. Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea..... Oh, might disturb some whales. Cows were unaffected.

I think if you don't have a sense of humor the despair might ruin you. Life throws us many curves. We get blind sided. Gotta keep keeping on. -
No offense to anyone but the ladies pictured, as gorgeous as they are, are no better for my cock than a lady slightly lower on the beauty ladder. Don't get me wrong. I have standards but enthusiasm in the sack is worth more than a starfish perfect 10. That said, I might have paid top dollar for Beverly Lynne in her prime but if you have seen her lately you would be totally shocked and I doubt you could get it up. But, if what gets you hard and off is eye candy, go for it.

Peter Ustinov on of my all time faves

But there was a huge roadblock. Worldwide, there is no standard for how loud a supersonic boom can be. Overland supersonic flight is banned in the United States and Europe, and if that can’t be changed, a supersonic commercial airplane is an economic non-starter. http://www.airspacemag.com/flight-today/Search-for-Quiet-SST-180952125/#iKIvidFriDHVuZzM.99

That is pretty cool. There have been bits and pieces of classical music in rock and roll but very few full pieces. Beethoven's 5th was used by ELO on Roll Over Beethoven: A lot of bands created what could be termed classical pieces. Pink Floyd has many examples. King Crimson's "In The Court of the Crimson King" is another. The late Greg Lake was a part of King Crimson and later Emerson, Lake and Palmer, of course. You have (Jeff) Beck's Bolero and so many others. Perhaps my favorite part of the Rock genre.
