I was a mechanical design engineer and not an electronics engineer. Yes, using my garage door opener to set off an explosive would scatter me around the neighborhood. I just have no expertise in what is relatively easy to get that would work. Tablets and laptops are sending and receiving signals at great distance too. True. Anything that emits a signal to receiver could be used. Theoretically, a garage door opener could emit a signal capable of setting off a bomb. I'm sure there are better examples but it illustrates my point.

I am staying at the Areca. I used to stay on LK Metro but the new clubs on that soi, since my last visit, may have made it too noisy. My safe was robbed at the LK Renaissance so I will never recommend them. Diana Inn is under different management but I got bad reviews when looking into them.

I do hear you. My ignorance of how things are in the UK. In America it is much the same way for American football - Sunday day games, Sunday night game, Monday and Thursday night games. Our Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for the ladies and family too.
