Hi Gonzo, I have no idea what paperwork you need to have when buying a car. Every year I hire a car for 5 weeks and the last couple of years we have ended up with a Toyota Vios. They are a great little car for every day use and quite good to drive. The only thing that I find wrong with them is that the driver's seat is not that comfortable. I always drive from Pattaya to Udon Thani and after a couple of hours or so I start getting a sore back. I have never had this problem with any other sort of car. Cheers, Groggy
