Same same. I went in there on sufferance last Thursday as my mate likes it. I had a pint of guiness, which is only marginally more expensive than the soda water..... and the servers were as surly as ever I loved the original Bite Me from mid morning into a late afternoon. The food, the girls and Peter made it a great social place to eat and chill out.....I am hoping against hope that nothing has changed with the Retox influence on the customer side...

No offence taken...My delivered meal was small portions and tasted shit. EDIT = And late and cold.....and the woman was rude on the phone telling me she was cooking and not to call back (after one hour of waiting)

I dared say as much on PL and was eventually banned..

I personally believe that the early diagnosis was wrong and things just developed from there. I think it was caused by the amount of Chinese rice wine used in the cooking...

As I posted earlier .........."I had a delivery once ....." But I will never forgive the yanks for pushing the "No MSG" bollocks...If I see any restaurent with a sign that says "No MSG" then I don't go in...simples....

Arsenal have a good squad. From what I remember of this morning's game was that the critical point was changing the defensive formation. I dare say that the anti-Wenger set of fans are angry that Wenger tried a new formation in the first place and the pro-Wenger fans will be praising the change because it led to a win.. Arsenal's season won't depend on usage of strikers or defensive tactics, it will be about the ratio of the two groups of fans one to t'other.... Either way I will enjoy watching it unfold...... a bit like voyeur porn really...

During my morning walks I have seen another chinkie cart just as you go in on the right at the Witherspoon entrance side...... I have heard it is good scoff and decent portions..... But no personal experience though...

I think that's why the bar/restaurent didn't make it. Brilliant idea, good location but customer facing skills were lacking ....... that is my experience anyway...I just gave up wanting to go in there..

Last I heard they had a cart in LK Metro but I am tucked up in bed before anything of interest happens on that street ......I think they concentrate on frozen and delivery service..

They sell their frozen meals in Siamsburys up Khao Talo but I've never bought any from there.. I had a delivery once .....

They had some great beers in there last year but as the man says they are expensive to buy-in and even with a small mark up it becomes too expensive.. They had a lovely hazelnut brown ale and a few American Arrogant Bastards in there which I tried.. Check out the "Jim's Burger" thread as they do craft beers too....I still haven't made it there though due to opening times..

May be they will reduce the tax on alcohol to encourage tourism....!!

A couple of questions because you don't mention them in this thread after re-opening..... 1. You publicise opening at 1pm but can I still come in at around 11am as usual?? 2. Excellent choice of music..!! Bob Fripp and I were born in Dorset villages about 4 miles and 10 years apart, called Witchampton and Holt. I like to think that we also share the same " farmers accent" ... Rumour has it that he nicked the original painting from that album. No idea if it's true or not...
