  1. It is difficult to do the laundry in a van. If I am ever out at night I will go there rather than an empty bar anyway .....
  2. I head West from LHR along the M4. I found loungebuddy to be very good since I stopped flying up front (and took everything for granted). Last time I flew out I went onto the Suvarnabhumi website and checked the history of departures to see what gates my flights left from and chose a lounge nearest staggering distance to the plane...There was a choice of buffet and a chef was available for fresh cooked food. Wine was self service from the fridge but when the girl saw me getting up and down she basically filled my glass for me every time I emptied it..All for 20 quid! .Same same for LHR bu
  3. Of course you are correct as the subject title is "when you are out" ...My Bad.... Does Mr Egg's place still do wine from the bottle? Most others is box..
  4. Matt used to have a single shop lot t'other side of the bridge and we'd sit and chat...well he'd chat and I'd listen .... about this dream he had of doing something different.. more classical more theatre..I thought he was just another dreamer...Then things seemed to happen at once...He started AW - Thaksin got elected and put restrictions on attire...Gspot put prices up to cope.......but Matt took costumes to the police and got them cleared as being OK...At the same time the wanker sprog manager of Dollhouse in Clinton Plaza banned me for taking a girl's top off FFS. It was timed perfectly fo
  5. I am a little unsure of this "day or 2" concept with bottles....Did you mean to say "hour or 2".. One thing that should be celebrated is that my local 7/11 that serves me 24/7 even on Bhudda days now have Concha y toro Cassilero del Diablo at 699 a bottle.. Way out of my budget but it becomes so tempting after a night out sniffing girls' perfume and heading home for a wank!!!
  6. I now look at things from a different perspective... - Due to National coaches availability I will only fly into LHR T2/T3 before 1600 so bang goes EVA and BA.. - My preference after that is to fly PE and pay 20 quid with loungebuddy at each departure lounge.. But no PE within my budget to T2/T3 so economy it is. - So for my next flight home it will be a price decision between Emirates or Qatar. Getting tanked up with scoff and wine in the lounge for 20 quid and with 2 short flights of 7 or so hours they won't have time to refuse me drinks unless I vomit... - Austrian/Swiss
  7. Best wine in a bar is now Sportsman on Soi 13...If you sit at the bar and chat to the girls it is possible to "encourage" them to put a drop extra in... A large glass for 150.... Boxed wine is bloody expensive nowadays... but a place I use does 3 litres for 920 baht ... 1 box with 2 x Cheers Xtra is 1002 baht...!!!
  8. Perhaps the person that redded this comment would like to comment himself on why he thinks that global News coverage is warranted in this case with direct comparison with the far greater flooding in Bangladesh which is regularly ignored by the News organisations..?? In fact, don't bother replying cos I won't be on the board again to read it..
  9. I wish the TV cameras and live reporting were just as intensive during monsoon flooding in Bangladesh. I wonder how TV companies calculate public interest.?..1 dead cowboy's horse = 5,000 dead Bangladeshis?? Sorry but I find the disparity too distateful for words
  10. Crusty Butt Flaps sounds like a 50's Jazz musician...!!
  11. Is that why they are called The Cleveland Browns..?? Does that make the person laying down an offensive wide receiver..??
  12. I did. The food was aweful ....but Monday is "Abbot Ale day" a pint for 2.50 so I shall be back...but eat first..
  13. Don't they also have to sit on it and move their arse along the chest like a steamroller...???
  14. I said Wetherspoons not Witherspoons ........... And I bought 3 bottles of Barolo yesterday 20 quid each............
  15. Thanks.. I see you mentioned Walkabout Creek earlier. I used to use it quite often but stopped due to personal reasons. At the time they did an excellent Aussie burger well worth visiting for....
  16. Just to let you know I ate in a Wetherspoons yesterday and I can still taste the cheap re-used oil in the pit of my stomach this morning...
  17. Spend my coin dollars to the beavered familiar
  18. I think that you'd have to be British to get this joke but being a Dorset boy where we have the machines and the pubs it is my favourite.....and I've also seen The Wurzels live..!!! 6. "Combine Harvesters. And you'll have a really big restaurant" - Mark Simmons
  19. One defender sold, one defender injured. No way is Wembley a home game. Ali and Kane are too far up their own arses like Vardy and Mahrez last season
  20. Firstly I have to congratulate him on buying something from Num Chai that actually worked. Secondly Preperation H tastes bloody disgusting. May I suggest eating a kg of asparagus, pissing into it and leave overnight.......Leave the house overnight I mean...
  21. Ah...very good point...yep there is ... but there were no tables for 6 yesterday....I shall pop in for food later in the week and check out the food, Abbott Ale and draught wine!!!
  22. It turned out that the ex Thai Airways Trolley Dolley that served me was the company Training Director. I was enjoying myself so much that reception came to get me cos I hadn't noticed the time but it was only a 10 minute walk to my gate.....I even think she poured me another glass whilst I was packing up my PC!!! Disregarding what booking site people use this was a very good experience..
