It's true the Ruskies will make it appear busy (at their end of WS anyway.) As for normal Euro crowd........dead. Its low season and flights are sky-high price. (altho KLM put their desperado hat on and offered specials at £480 providing you stay max 26days in may) Even in the european holiday sector, May is traditionally the month to pick up a bargain (i.e £70 self catering holiday to portugal flights included). So for everyone except your hardened monger have better choices

The Road down to Koh Chang (and cambodia) is a normal highway so the bike is fine BUT your problem will be taking the bike over the border. If its anything similar to a car then you need a "vehicle Passport" to take it out (more for bringing it back). the paperwork is tedious and you will be in the office for a while too.

As from today all skywards (emirates frequent flyer program) members are due discounts from 5% to 10% depending on when you joined. Some of the conditions are: You must book before 15th sept via the skywards site You must fly in oct or nov (outbound) Any changes made later revert back to original price Seems like a good deals chaps if you are planning a trip anyway ..and remember you will still earn more miles from this itinary as well.

i have been a tony member for years now.....i should have got the life membership but lazilly just keep renewing. The old chap who sits at the table across from the main reception desk is always very pleasant and deals with you efficiently. Maybe you just got the wrong person on the day. Got a free upgrade to first class this time with emirates on the a380......unbelievable. Mattress bed and private bar etc.....As stated before the air quality seems to be superior in this model.

As a general rule most small lens consumer camcorders are rubbish in low light. This is what seperates the more expensive pro-sumer cams like the old vx2000. I have seen a few small camcorders setup in various bars so ther must be afew models that can switch off the standby mode but id be more tempted to install a high-end cctv(security type) cam-only style. There are good quality models out there.

This idea has been done before (eat-alls etc).....and it didnt pay. What tends to happen is the quality of the food starts off great and then as the owner doesnt see the profits they want, they tend to slowly bring the quality down until word gets round and noone eats there. The only eat-all thats seems to work is the korean buffet cook-yourself type. Even these make their money on their over-priced drinks/water/ice scam.

This code is supposed to be for arsenal season ticket holders. Now whether at the booking stage they check on your season ticket i dont know. UKHSBC1 will get you 9 quid off. I have just used it and it works ok. I dont know what aircraft tehy are using for this route but a few years ago my emirates flight had a technical delay in UK. The upshot was that we arrived in Dubai too late to get any bangkok flight. So they took us to singapore and then stuck us on a Finnair flight up to BKK. The plane felt old, dirty and the food was defo not up to Emirates standard (nor the service). It had the old portable TV's hanging from roof and seat comfort was lacking. This didnt feel like a short haul aircraft but i think they must have chartered it in a hurry as it was so dirty.
