A friend of mine that collects exotic license plates has asked me if I can get him a Pattaya license plate. My first question is it legal to take a license plate out of the country? If so, what are the requirements? If I get past the first question, is there anyone that would give or sell me cheaply an old plate? Car or cycle would be fine.

Funny thing happened to me on a domestic American Airlines trip. At LAX I was told that my 2nd carry on was too big and that I would have to break it up. So I did just that using a light weight duffel bag I had. At my connection, they complained about me having three carry ons and made me stuff bag number 3 back into bag number 2. If I ever fly Eva again I will be taking a rolling laptop bag I have and use it to tow the lightweight duffel bag I have and forget my 21" bag.

I had that problem with Eva but not Thai. I was only over by 10 lbs and offered to pay a penalty (I had checked no luggage) but Eva wouldn't play. Flown Thai 5 times and never had that problem.
