I have never owned a powered bike and I don't ride (except for a rental around ko larn last year). I am curious why people want big fast bikes. I would think that the wind buffeting at higher speeds would become really annoying. I drive a cheap sports car and roll the windows up at anything above 50 mph. So excuse me for asking, but why does your girl want a bigger bike?

Four years ago when I flew into BKK in business class on JAL on an award ticket they didn't give out a pass. I guess that was a different airline policy?

I stayed at the RG my first trip in 2003. I really enjoyed the quiet resort feel of it back then. I really enjoyed having breakfast and sometimes lunch by the pool. It was September and the thunder was loud and the staff would scamper to pull the furniture out of the rain and 30 minutes later to put it back in place. It was very stylish but it did have a few faults. Finding your way back to it in the heat was hell...ended up on Budda Hill once. No one had explained to me how the baht buses worked at the bottom of the hill. The mattress felt more like bed springs and the couch was onl

US Customs destroying person property without reasonable suspicion
short replied to short's topic in Airline Discussion
From the internet (it never lies) In 1994, Congress added subsection 2423(sorry the number is being interpretted as a smiley), which made it a crime to transport oneself across state or national borders with the intent to have sex with a minor. -
US Customs destroying person property without reasonable suspicion

The US doesn't have jurisdiction in Thailand. But it does in the US and that is why the law is worded "TRAVELING for the purpose of having sex with a minor". You don't have to leave the US or do the act to be guilty under US law. -
I wonder if that was the same cutie that met me. I seriously considered asking her to spending my vacation with me. I wasn't planning on checking luggage but Eva threw a wrench into those plans. They promised me that my roller board would come out early as I was in premium economy. There must have been 50 taped up cardboard boxes that came out ahead of mine. Anybody know what the deal is with all the taped up cardboard boxes? If they had come out last I would have assumed that they belonged to very poor passengers in economy.

I had left a package at business on the hill between Pattaya and Jomtien and so took the baht bus as far as possible and then grabbed a motorbike taxi the rest of the way. Arriving at the top, I told the motorbike to wait to take me back down to the baht bus route. I was in and out the door in 60 seconds but unfortunately the motorbike taxi was no where to be seen. Being in no physical condition to make the hike back to the baht bus route on my own and not knowing exactly how to get there anyway I spotted an English guy walking to his car and asked him if he would give me a ride back
