Its basically a Sentra. Doesn't accelerate like a sports car but is a great car for Thailand. It has a very small turning radius and good driver visibility which makes it a great car for snaking through Thai traffic and is very easy to park. The 1994 Sentra was one of the preferred cars for the Thai taxis. The Corolla and a Honda were the other two preferred by taxis.

What the hell! I thought only American made cars did that. I've had two Nissans and they held up very well. One was totaled, other drivers fault, and the other I just got tired of after 10 years and 150k miles.

No, and if you notice, the OP in that thread had a more immediate need. I do like dogs thought I don't mind keeping them at my house for others. Tends to keep the burglurs away.

CarFAX is wholly owned by IHS Markit Ltd. (INFO, Information Handling Services), a company based in London, United Kingdom. Since the sun never sets on England, why couldn't there be CarFAX or a similiar service in Thailand? So yes it is relevant? Edit: Changed "BarFAX" to "CarFAX".

Back in the eighties the stories going around the US navy was that when you pulled into an Australian port, you threw your hat (with your name inside it) down from the side of the ship to the waving women on the pier and then you went with whichever woman caught it. -
I am trying to understand the market in Thailand for buying vehicles because if I move to Thailand after retiring, I will probably need one. I have a history of making posts in a lot of threads regardless of who originates them. If someone else was offering vehicles here, I would probably be making comments and asking questions on those also. Has nothing to do with Poolhustler. I don't think I've ever met him and know nothing about him, but I'm sure that Poolhustler knows that there is a lot of window shopping before a vehicle gets purchased.

Respectfully sir, If you believe that I asked questions in this thread for the benefit of others you are mistaken.

Nice vehicle. Mercedes is slapping their badge on it and selling it as the X-Class. Has this vehicle been in a wreck? Do you have a Car FAX for it?

FEMA recommends that you keep three gallons of water for each person and this is because it takes about 3 days to deploy rescue operations. Considering the heat, I would also want a solar powered fan. I bought a 100 watt solar panel from Amazon and use it to run my spot lights at night, but in a emergency, I would divert it to other uses.

I disagree and here is why. I welcome any information that contradicts my knowledge. The translation (yes that is my first fault) that I have read of the Thai law regarding prostitution is that it is "nuisance prostitution" that is illegal. Meaning for example beach prostitutes harassing tourist families. -

I read somewhere that the "The act was wrongful" portion means that the act must have happened in a place where prostitution was illegal. -
I was having breakfast one day in the Honey Inn restaurant when I observed one of the staff lose control of and drop one of those 10 gallon water barrels. It was like everything was happening in slow motion. As the big plastic bottle hit the the ground, water moved from the top of the bottle to the bottom of bottle. And as the water hit the bottom of the bottle you could see the return wave of water back to the spout. Now because water is in-compressible, the water at the spout was forced out at a speed of about 20 times the speed that the bottle had been dropped to the floor. The water

Evil, I don't think his intention was to question your reputation. I think he was attempting to point out his personal experience and just did a poor job of it. -

What happened in 1984? This change was driven by the feminazi NGOs that have been trying to claim that prostitution is the same as pedophilia and slavery. They are in no way doing this for victims. This is an effort to extort money from the American tax payers to FUND them. -

There was a recent addition to the US Uniform Code of Military Justice that prohibits service members from patronizing prostitutes.
