  1. That happened quicker than I had expected. Not sure why they expected to keep passengers after they added a stop, removed premium economy, and switched from the quiet A340 to the noisy 777.
  2. Not sure where to put this one. Feel free to move. Which Android Apps have you found to be the most useful? My favorates are: Translate (spent many hours using that with a none english speaking Thai girl) MX Player (will play any movie that I have tried) GPS Test (It has a night screen mode which is great for watching your flight to BKK leaving your seat tv for movies) I don't think my last flight every made it above 28k feet due to the load.
  3. Did the girls at the devils den mention something to you?
  4. What about Emergency Stress Reducers (ESRs)? Cabin staff would have handed them out left and right then.
  5. They should fly the Chinese straight to Ko Larn.
  6. The makers fucked up by calling them "e-cigarettes". They are not the some. cigarettes produce smoke. These are steam generators.

  8. One that all mongers should read is the short story "Young Goodman Brown". Amazon has it as a Kindle item.
  9. LOL, MM, I was about to send you a message that you were disqualified due to inside information, but you got it wrong.
  10. Jacko, your answer is so close that if no one gets the correct one I was looking for, I will give it to you
  11. A good family restaurant will first ask you what you would like to drink then ask you if you know what you want. If you answer no, they go get your drink. Good restaurants have their entire routine scripted. Probably the best example of that is a restaurant chain in the US that everyone stops to have breakfast at 3 am after a night of drinking. Free drink to first to name the chain. None Americans get two drinks.
  12. Must be about the Europeans as they like their sleep aids. https://www.yahoo.com/travel/confessions-of-a-fed-up-flight-attendant-attack-of-the-83629894522.html
  13. Not sure which section to put in, Accommodation or Transportation. http://www.campervan-thailand.com/home.html
  14. This has got to be one of the greatest british comedies. Is unfortunate that it only lasted four years. I suspect that the actors went on to higher paying jobs. The character Jeff left because he was afraid of being typecast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h1tOJL5bBc
  15. If as the owner you can't find the time to tend to your business, you better hope that you can find a reliable farang manager.
  16. The Winner Place next to D Apartment. New, no pool, elevator, latest security features. Good cheap laundry on same soi. About 1100/night.
  17. Well played nkped. CP I hate 6 AM in a premium seat. Its like a 300 lb woman telling me that she will do anything that I like.
  18. Beerbelly, sometime people get a "dry socket" after having a tooth pulled and it is very pain full. I don't know what it actually is or what causes it, you will know if you get it. Be ready to go back to the dentist if necessary.
  19. My experience means that "kitchenette" means that there is a subset of kitchen items (running water, sink, microwave oven or miniature stove, worktop, maybe a hot plate) in an area that is not a divided kitchen area. Kitchenettes were popular in low cost motels in the 70s (US) because families could save money by doing some minor cooking in the room. Today a kitchenette might add an induction cooker because of its lower fire risk.
  20. Being in the states I can't buy it, but I'm just curious, why are you selling it?
