  1. If you come into the states via DFW and you are a us citizen with no checked luggage, you can use the kiosk. Swipe your passport. Answer six easy customs questions at the kiosk. The kiosk then prints a "receipt" with your photo printed on it that you hand in as you exit the room. The agent confirms that you look like the person on the receipt. Can't get any faster than that.
  2. Surely only of the tailors can recommend a place.......
  3. When using Agoda, make sure that you click the Agoda ad on Pattaya Talk each and every time. Agoda removed the 365 day cookie.
  4. Took my car to have the tires rotated and balanced at a national chain. The store manager had to drive my car in and out of the stall because the mechanic assigned to the job couldn't drive a straight shift.
  5. Visited one of these in Bangkok near a airport hotel with a TG. Now to set the setting, I have to tell you that this particular TG will only ride a motorbike as a last resort because she fears them which everyone should. Well, I talked her into riding a bumper car with me (she wouldn't ride one by herself). After that and telling her that I have a sports car and like to drive fast, she proclaimed that she will never ride in a car that I'm driving. Question, if you wreck one of the go karts in Pattaya, do they expect you to pay for the repairs, or do they just cover that in the cost o
  6. You can buy simple reading glasses in the states for 200 baht. I pay about 3000 baht per pair of progressives in the states. I don't understand why they are so expensive in Thailand.
  7. Sunny, to be honest, I'm not sure what time it was. I do remember that I ordered the schnitzel myself and the sun was out.
  8. Sunny, I was eating at your place when a couple came in and made the remark, "how are they supposed to make a pizza when they don't have a fire going?" I think what the meant was that the bricks needed to be heated long before the cooking started.
  9. LOL, between the lines the business owner was trying to understand what different nationalities were expecting. But go ahead, have some American gravy on your English biscuit for breakfast.
  10. From my neck of the woods, that is sausage links along with either ham or pork chops. I have not seen beans for breakfast in the south US..
  11. That was just a typo that I didn't catch.
  12. I hope this doesn't get sent to Davy John's locker like most of my latest posts by MM.

  14. Thanks Shilo. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
  15. Why are poles required to stay on the left side of the plane?
  16. Do those cradle seats cradle enough to keep you from sliding out when sleeping?
