Stayed in the Sunshine Soi 8 last 2 years, 1st year in the older wing and this September stayed in the new one, nicer rooms in the new wing and you also have a decent sized bath, the old wing just has a useless shower that floods the whole of the bathroom. September's visit cost me 800 baht a night in the new wing, stayed there 25 nights and payed for 22 as you get 1 night free for every night you stay. Very girl friendly as they do not mind how many you take back as long as they leave ID.

Got some good deals from Mike's Shopping Mall, if you enter from Beach Road the stall is on the right half way down, its only a small stall buyt the lady selling them was great. Ended up paying 3000 baht for 4 louis vittons after much haggling and the promise i would pay the stall holder 200 more baht when i was next in Pattaya. Had to give them all away as presents however as none of them matched any of my outfits.

Hi Rob One thing to look out for is the new Silverstar on Soi 7, had some good nights there last month and there are some very naughty ladies working there, especially one of the jacuzzi girls who has a very long tongue, some stunners also working there. Been using my flex account card in Patts for the last 3 years and never been charged or had any hassle from the building society itself. Not sure I would get the same service if they knew what I was spending the money on, thats another matter.

Stayed in the Sunbeam 2 years ago, ok hotel but not girl friendly, stayed at the Sunshine last year and was great, girl friendly, good staff and great location, room made up every day, only issue is there is no safe, only boxes in reception that close at 21:00 and open up again at 10:00 apart from this slight hang up I had a great stay. Was thinking about the Kippers this time around but the buiding work put me off so booked the Sunshne again for 4 wonderful weeks starting on Wednesday, just finished packing and I am ready for the off, wheels up at 10:00 tomorrow morning.

I made the unfortunate mistake of not hiring Mr Toom last year when I went to LOS, guess what, arrived at the airport and there was no one there to pick me up, I am back there in just over a week, Mr Toom is booked. Should have had my head examined for not hiring him last year.

Hi Merrin I will in Los for my 3rd trip in 2 years very shortly and to date I have always used the ATM's to get my cash without a single problem, the exchange rate is normally bettter through an ATM and if you have an account with the Nationwide it is free to withdrawl anywhere abroad.
