No need to answer this as I just saw the other thread that she charges 1800 baht from Don Muang. At that price I can use Mr T who uses similar size cars for 1200baht all in and I have never had a problem with their drivers and if I want to pay 1800baht I can get a Camry from the Airport itself at one of the taxi stands. If her price was similar to Mr T or even a little cost more I would give her a try but will not be bothered at that price. Good luck to her in her new business, I hope it all works out for her.

I do not where you stayed but the area from near Soi 7 down towards Walking Street end of 2nd road... most of those were open and in that area on Beach Road there were a few walking around and on the "beach". they were around... maybe a little less in numbers but as you say ... it was low season.

Pretty obvious what his observations are.... his comments and pictures and as a resident. Pretty straight forward. You must have walked around with your eyes closed in low season as there are still some of their "Travel Shops" operating on 2nd road and they were on beach road walking and using the "beach" if you want to call it that. And yes... there were some in Jomtien.

Read your post #18 again. Fair enough, at least you have ate there and have reason for complaint. I hope you told him of your concerns at the time so he can fix the problem. If he doesn't fix it to your standars, fair enough don't eat there.

So he sold the rancid chicken to you??? Or you are going on heresay? I think that you are already eating food that come from Thai style markets at other places around town and you would not even know it.

Interesting. Most of the knockers seem to complain about the food they had there before Dale took over and still whinge about the place. I think that if they want to whine about a place after it has been taken over with new ownership that they would at least have the decency to try the food themselves before bad mouthing the place. Hope you go well in the place Dale, at least you are are having a go at something, more than some of your detractors.

Very good reply by the owner of PGB. He has look at the complaints put on this thread and answered accordingly. Importantly He has given a contact that guarantees it will go straight to him. Top effort. I always stop in there when in town at different times and will make sure I do again.

I will be in Pattaya next month and have found Ring Guesthouse on the net and doesn't look too bad. I have done a search here but cannot find any recent reports about the place. I usually stop at the Sandy Springs but feel like a change. Has anybody got any opinions about this guesthouse. Thanks in advance.
