Was only stopped once, riding from Patong to Kata. There were loads of BIB on both sidesof the road at Karon beach around 5pm. Got waved down, had just produced my Aussie licence when he noticed a Thai King pendant around my neck. He sorta went all gooey and started stroking the pendant and with a huge smile waved me on my way. I had a helmet on. A good luck charm for sure.

^^^ Absolutly. The no vendors rule is one of the best reasons to go there.

Very much looking forward to getting in there again. One of my favourite bars in Patts. Never had any problem with the food. And the beer is the perfect temp.

Great Shepards pie.

The guy in the pic made it. I paid him $300 AUD to bring it out and cook the pig. He actually brought two ovens and cooked the vegies in the other one. You can just see the second one in the pic. The pig cost $700 AUD The earlier ovens he made were made from Zincalume but these later ones are Stainless. He's cooked five for us over the years and knows how to cook a great pig. Folk were saying it was the best they had never tasted.

added Butcher's Arms to my list but I don't know where along Soi Boukow it is located. Shouldn't be hard to find out. Next to Pook bar, about 30 meters North of LK Metro.

Never tried his breakfasts, as I usually go to Canterbury Tales, or 18 Coins, but have had his Shepard's pie with the Brussel Sprouts, a few times, that was ok.
