  1. It depends o your bank, i think mine charges £30. i think Lloyds av the best rate, i remember my friend telling me he didnt pay that much i think it was around £15
  2. I have a santander zero CC and it doesnt charge for cash withdrawles, but there charge interest on cash you withdraw, either in the uk or worldwide. am just wondering if the halifax CC works the same. If you want to aviod the 150 baht ATM fee, i tend to go to a branch of the bank of Ayudhya and withdraw in there, all you need is your passport and CC.

  11. I booked from december 20th to jan 3rd for £806 with Etihad, and wanted to change my return to the 10th and expedia wanted an extra £270, so i ask them to check the 9th, and they said it would be an extra £50 as i will be travelling in the same glass, so i book those dates. My advice wud be to book now as the flights will go up in price, I was talking to a BM and he said he paid £1400 for an xmas flight last year with Etihad,
  12. The other day i was just telling a friend that emirates prices seem to be high, I av never used them b4 and av always flown with Etihad to LOS, i hope Etihad dont fpllow suit and up there prices in the future.

  14. After reading these reviews, on my next trip in july i will book with Mrdream transport. I normaly just get a taxi from the taxi stand, but av found there prices to increase every time i get a taxi there, and also it sounds like Mrdream cares about his customers, which is nice to see in a world that only cares about the bottom line.

  16. Thanks for the picture MM, there bring back some wet memories, i didn venture down to beach road or walking street on the day of the songkran (maybe cos ed had me out until 8am that morning and i woke up late) but wen i did got up and go out, i went to the bottom of my soi (soi 16 central rd) and had a good time, there were lots of people there and also lots of cars drivig down the narrow road on the soi, and of course alot of girls in wet t-shirts. The week before i was in Phuket, and wen there songkran was on, i didnt enjoy as much, maybe because it was mostly farang with the water guns and
  17. Hi baz, before i booked the hotel, [MERCURE] i sent them an email asking about joiner fees, cos i read a review saying that they charge for the extra guest. They replied and said, if i book a room for 2 guests they will waive the charge. I have since saved the email and will use it if they try and charge. so if ur thinking of bring a guest back, it mite be worth you doing the seem thing. enjoy your stay there and please send me a review, also thanks to NatureOfNorway for the codes.

  19. As i said i like the Allseasons hotel, but one of the things i didnt like was the amount of wilde dogs roaming around out there, one even went to go for me, if it wernt for the heat, those dogs wud be killer dogs. i av stayed at serveral accor hotels around the world and av found them to be good hotels, (apart from the Ibis hotel in Patong, Phuket)
  20. Hello everyone, am visiting Pattaya in July and this would be my third time there, on the last 2 trips i have stayed at the seem hotel, called Allseasons hotel, which is a good hotel i think, but i fancy i change and have book the Mercure Hotel, By the way is part of the same hotel group as the Allseasons. But my question is, am i better sticking to the same hotel, or trying different ones? Also if anybody has stayed at the Mercure Hotel can you please give me feedback on that hotel, thanks.
