Yep, the front seat is the scariest, you can really see the stupid risks the driver is taking. Maybe you didn't notice so much because you we're watching the movies. Glad you got back in one piece. I will never do a visa run in a mini bus again. Only a matter of time before one of them kills a group of people.

Yeah I used another company once and the driver was just as crazy. The drivers seem to rush to get back by 2 / 2:30 pm.

Done a few visa runs with them. Mini van drivers are fucking insane. Feared for my life on many occasions. Last time a got a private car through 1st class. 4,500฿ so only an extra $60 to not risk my life. The lady boss tried to get me to go on the bus again. I told her no your drivers are unsafe. She said have different driver. I told her I have been with a few different drivers, they are all crazy, I'm not doing it. She laughed and so ok. Doing 140km/hr over taking on the wrong side of the road around a blind bend is not fun.

Tried a smoothy and the spinach soup this morning. The smoothy was excellent, slightly tangy and sour taste mixed with the sweet fruit flavours. The soup was ok but very thick and a bit too heavy with a hangover. I should have gone the muesli.

Flight from Australia yesterday was full.

I just got back from having the scooter serviced. Went round and had the English breakfast while I was waiting. Great value at 90฿

It is a nice coarse. There are a lot nicer coarses around though. If they try and charge the same as the nicer coarses they will have few customers. Now, someone want to go and explain that to the new Thai owners. Good luck.

I'm guessing a strimmer is what Aussies call a Whipper Snipper. My air conditioner got serviced while I was away working. Dirty shoe prints on the tiles through the condo. Crap on the shower floor where they washed out the filters. Lights in the bathroom and extraction fan left on. Typical Thai service.

I went and checked out this bar last night. Busy bar that's for sure, soccer was on so maybe that made it more busy. Got stuck into the ciders, they have a good range. Nice full size pool table as well. It's on the corner kinda of straight ahead when you turn down the Soi next to Oasis. Oh Paps, 105 baht 2 for 1 Sam migs.

I went along to curry night. It was much more civilized. But, 2 girls were nicking food out of my bowl. Then when it was finished they were nagging me to go get a second bowl. They said you have big bin boss don't care how many bowls you get. I said I was ok, I had a small meal and that would keep me going. They pestered me until I went and got a second bowl. I did not eat any of this 2nd bowl. The girls woofed it down like a couple of hungry dogs. Funny stuff. Was a fun night and those curries are excellent. Can't think of a better snack while out on the beers.

When ever I have bought a car, if it didn't already have a tow bar, I would fit one. It gives you some protection from minor hits from behind. Some cheap protection that will last the life of the car. If I buy a vehicle here I will be getting some of those mini cameras that you can mount inside the car. Much cheaper now and could save you a lot of money if you we're in an accident where the falang is automatically going to be thought to be at fault.

Maybe if your size swimwear isn't readily available, it would be best for us all if you don't go and find those oversized ones.

The map I looked at must have been wrong. I was riding down Soi Baukhoa last night and saw this place the Chaba Hut. It was 50 to 100 meters south of the s bend.

Never heard of the Chaba hut and there a few 7/11s on buakhoa. Looked it up on a map and its about a 3rd of the way from the s bend towards Pattaya Klang (Central Rd)

Thanks for the photos. I see in one photo Draught beer 120฿ all night. I'm guessing everything is about 50% more expensive in Bangkok compared to Pattaya.
