  1. Yeah....................really starting here.............Here it comes.......... I'll take my inflatable sheep as a buoyancy aid.........Better empty it first!!!
  2. I have to go over Suk today...........@ 11 a.m. It looks very threatening in that direction.............I can see black ominous clouds from my balcony. Has anything started yet over there?
  3. I went back again to Little India today.........I like the food and the fact it opens early. I'd had a shag mid-morning so no worries about my breath smelling or dropping a deadly fart later with my 'squeeze of the day'........(I don't know where i get this reputation of being an uncharitable person....I think this level of thoughtfulness shows just caring and considerate I am). The owner always wants a chat and I thought I'd broach the subject of this thread. I didn't say what chat board but he was already aware of all of this. He looked sad and a little helpless.......He said ......
  4. As you say the Welsh have a lot of their best players in 'the workshop' undergoing repairs. Fiji are physically competitive. By the time Wales get to playing Australia.......They could have lost even more......I expect Australia to win that match. Perhaps the acute angle worried Robshaw.....Whatever, it turned out to be the wrong decision. Can't do anything about it now. England will have almost nothing to lose against Australia........If they don't win it's over. No excuses...no if only's. Should be a good game.
  5. I'm not absolutely recommending TheENT at Pattaya Internatinal but the got my BPPV diagnosed in secs. It's funny how something soooo simple can blight our lives. Good luck Billions
  6. Let me know if you have any problems, like I said I want to lose weight........And I'm thinking perhaps if I cast my net on the other side of the Suk' at the Fisherman's cafe by the Lake........I'll catch something! Sorry it's the Damascus thing got me all biblical.....
  7. 20 hours after eating at Little India your intrepid gastronome is happy to report no unusual activity coming from his southern flank.
  8. Well because I've been up since 6am and gone without breakfast just left my Central shopping in the car and went to little India.... Had a very nice tikka and pilaw rice. Excellent..... Haven't paid yet so tell you the price later.... Must be a great place to watch Hammer and Bushcraft at it and the girls from Papagoyo at night. I ate up all my greens.... So will await developments..... Won't eat anywhere else today and let you know if anything develops .
  9. Yummm Chicken!! In South Africa that's classed as a vegetable. In the name of research atlas2 shall boldly go where perhaps someone has been before.........I need to lose a bit of weight. I shall report the consistency of my excretions tomorrow....and whether any wall/knee banging was involved.
  10. Well had it been England playing Japan tonight I can imagine a Scottish board-member (sadly not around these days) scouring the sports shops and catalogues to kit himself out with a Japanese shirt........... But I'll be watching all the home countries and supporting them against anyone but England. It was great to see Japan cause the upset over SA....hopefully warned by that.....Scotland will be putting out the A team tonight and get a comfortable win.
  11. Your next mission 007 is to decide if atlas2 is being congratulatory...........condescending..........facetious.......or just trying to be funny? You have an appointment with 'Q' Branch in an hour....where a micro-chip will be inserted into the synapsis of your brain to give you a sense of humour!!! Just joking..........Or am I?
  12. Thursday's a good night.........No Rugby...... I may actually make this.
  13. Nice comparison.........Thanks......You have your uses......... May the 4th be with you!!
  14. Yes we all like to see the less established nations do well.........Except against our own team. I missed it but will check out the highlights....Not the same as watching live of course. Well done the Blushing Blossoms or whatever they are called. Samoa Vs USA today. I would think the US are the underdogs for a change...I'm sure they'll give Samoa a few worries.
  15. Just intended as a joke.... Some of you guys????
  16. I love these things......From the opening ceremony.
  17. Setting my daily activities around this.......Got a doze in today so looking forward to the start. Despite the stale stereotypes always trotted out of the snotty, superior English needing taking down a peg or two, the English can never approach any sport with any sense of confidence. Fiji are a BIG worry in every way. 'Game on'
  18. The foolish man built his house upon the sand And the rain came tumbling down.
  19. Yes and i take back my compliment about the 2nd road area around Rumpol market. Went passed this morning and quite a lot of water still around hours after the deluge........Pot-holes back. Noticed that there was a lot of 'sharp-sand' laying across the tarmac. What seems to have happened is that the floods have dislodged the sandy soil they've recently dug-over to plant palm-trees in-between carriageways and along the entire length of Jomtien 2nd road......Rght up to where that it joins Suk' at Na-Jomtien. Must be a thousand trees laid. In the land of Unforeseen consequences........Thi
  20. Faster than BigD heading for the door.....when it's his round! Well just back from my walk along Jomtien Beach. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words but didn't take my phone and not spending 1000 words on this so...... Best description I can give is to recall the words of the great Desi Arness when returning to his house, arms on hips as he takes in the devastation..... Lucy is in hiding somewhere....... and he calls out, 'LUCY..... YOU GOT SOME "SPLAINING TO DO!!" Lots of Thais hands on hips.......Scratching of heads......and not knowing where to start. The good news
