That great polymath Benjamin Franklin……..in his Essay 'Fart Proudly' (essential reading for any self respecting man)…….considered the feasibility of creating farts that smelt of pleasant things……..and challenged notable chemists of the day to set about it. I think there has been some movement towards this over the last few hundred years. Glitter out of the shitter would have pleased him ………….

Ditto along with key man re cold beer? Stupid notion!…….. I always question these surveys. Around Easter there's often a survey which claims eating chocolate has beneficial effects on the heart.... Do tell! Just recently a medical survey came the conclusion that it was healthier to be fat as more thin people die.... They included people dying of HIV and cancer TB etc in their survey. ????

What!!! You have pictures of sandwiches too………Can you show photos of the 'special ones'? No, I'm sorry I didn't meant upset you or cause a fuss….. I just never would have thought of sitting in 'Biz' and thinking I absolutely must photograph this bottle of beer………or no one will believe me!!"... I thought it a strange thing to do……Obviously it's only me that thinks that way. Back to the sensible bit of the thread…….And enjoy your holiday.

For my 60th a mate sent over some Boss gear, belt, wallet, socks and a black polo shirt. I wear this shirt a lot and it's gotten a couple of very small holes on the shoulder……Normally I'd bin it but I like the fit and thought I'll get another one. So last trip to BKK I visit the Boss store in 'Paragon' .sp? The attendants look down their silicon noses at me as though I'm something the cat just dragged in….Trying by my demeanor to shake off the evil-smelling-peasant aura I obviously carry about with me, I see two black polos and saunter over to them. I study the first... showing posh people i -
Why did you photograph 'an empty bottle and a glass of beer, half full or empty I am unsure.' ??

The only time I flew a 380……I'm walking to the back…..and walking…….and walking. In the end I asked one of the stewardesses if any buses went this way! Well she thought it was funny!

As for me……….I've just gotten back from a short shop for a table and couple of chairs for my balcony………I shall now enjoy a nice cup of tea on the balcony before I go off for a shag and a Sunday roast somewhere……. Enjoy the British weather Jacko. -

I share the feelings of the other 'M' MM…….. It's probably this clip that spurred you into joining the double 'express' 00 section. https://youtu.be/sgiilZY0eac?t=25s -
I'm not sure I quite understand this. Isn't it the responsibility of the umpires to provide and monitor the balls as they do in other sports…..? If it isn't perhaps it should be. Professional teams will cheat if they can. In football (the real kind) tugging, tripping, blocking off, deliberate handballs are glossed over as professional fouls……. and celebrated by fans and even excused by TV commentators. It's what I hate most about today's game. In cricket the bowlers will try to get away with as much as they can…….but the umpires keep an eye on things Football inflation pressures se

Teacher asks Johnny……"There are 3 birdies on a fence and the farmer shoots one of the little birdies. How many are left on the fence?" "None Miss' "No Johnny if you take 1 away from 3 that leaves two Johnny, doesn't it?" "No Miss because the other little birdies will be scared by the big bang from the farmer's Remington 870, or maybe he had an Ithaca 37……(This was an American school). "Well 1 from 3 the right answer is 2…... but I like your thinking Johnny" Johnny smiles brightly and says 'Here's one for you Miss………. Three ladies have a big ice-cream cone each…..One li

I have to post this because 'I'm all come over' There's so much people may have heard of….'Man of the World'……'Oh Well'…..'Albatros' but this one …again gives a flavour of what Peter was ……...before he wasn't……Here a broken string from another band member prompts a solo performance. https://youtu.be/WHApxSN7dDU

I did…….I bought the album 'Blues for Greeny' Moore has the tech', the technique, the actual reversed pick-up Les Paul ..only his voice weakens his renditions of Peter's originals Voice not present here in this instrumental off the John Mayall LP……So…….. Great! Thanks BB. The link to Joe Bonamassa's (sp) 'Midnight Blues' was great too. Peter/Gary's guitar……That's the Holy Grail right there played to it's limit. Hendrix's death was a great loss but Peter going potty was for me the greater tragedy……Listening to Peter Green live was like discovering a new colour.

I got a red above in the Baltimore thread for that same joke. Some people have no sense of humour.

'Portable safes' could be considered an oxymoron……... I've tended to trust the safes at reception with my passport, calculating that it if goes missing and I have a problem so does the Hotel. Room safes can be reset easily and you only have your word as to what you've put in them………I see them as a decoy. I keep a card and a copy of my passport on me in a little internal zipped pocket. The seams of curtains……..hollow shower rails……..a small hole cut into a foam seat lining……It's fun finding a little hiding place for some emergency cash. Short of using a cylindrical container st

Where can I watch Pacquiao/Mayweather on May 2?
atlas2 replied to MeGoDanceNow's topic in Sports Talk
I think the fighters may have had a little to do with the hyping themselves. Mayweather was too good in all categories except trying to make a fight of it. Perhaps two years ago Manny might have connected but he was outclassed yesterday. Pity. As it is Mayweather won……pocketed the most money……..continued his sweep of victories…….Pacquiao and boxing were both the losers. I prefer the amateur stuff and MMA. -
Thanks BB I didn't know that was Beethoven ……..Can't hear it and not think Benny Hill.

This is the song on which 'Thinking Out Loud' is loosely based. Sky news have found another brilliant use for it…….. Probably works best for Brits…...
