I reckon Pattaya is an idea place to come and live if you are an ex crim. Its reasonably cheap, they don't have the same extradition treaties that most EC countries do, and its easy to get lost in a town like Pattaya. I would. There is a real difference between being in Pattaya and continuing to carry out crime, than a retired criminal who is enjoying the rewards of crime in a foreign land. I think it depends on how its cracked, I agree, in some cases its no problem with updates.

I uses it for a while a couple of years back, but found some difficulties in converting to Word files when sending docs via email and some people were not able to open them. I now use Microsoft Office, which is obviously superior. Although I have a legit copy, it is quite easy to obtain via something like Vuze or other torrents. The only difference being that you need to turn off updates and it is not a legal copy. I need to used spreadsheets and WP generated docs all the time for working and everything needs to be professionally compatible. If it were just for home use, then I would use Works or Open Office, I guess, but not professionally. I guess that the point I am making, is that most companies use Microsoft Office, as well as other professional database packages and install them on a group licence, where as Open Office is probably quite useable for banging out a few letters, home accounts and address book etc and the real onus is that its absloutely FREE.

I was hoping that I would not have to do any reistallations at the time, but it now looks inevitable.I may upgrade my PC from a 386 to a 486 or even a Pentium 1 so I may wait until then and reinstall all my programmes including my current version of XP
