nope, no wind up. i thought if you had a valid passport you could go ALMOST anywhere. Since i didn't need to acquire anything before going to thailand thought it would be same deal for thai's coming to canada. up until recently i've only travelled to USA and the Caribbean. Don't feel sorry, i appreciate your honesty. There's a reason I posted this. primarily for some more experienced bm's to raise questions i wouldn't think of.

We talked a bit about it. she has a passport. She had a boyfriend from the netherlands or wherever rotterdam is. She was going to visit but she broke up with him( so she says ) but i see his wailing posts on her FB She said she wants to see and play with snow and her sister said she wants to go ( i don't trust her sister about much tho ) I guess i would have to make it abundantly clear that it would just be a vacation for 2 weeks. not really worried about the cost, and i pay for everything when she's with me in thailand anyways so i was planing on that. thanks tho these are the questions i'm looking for.

that's what i ws thinking I was just there for two weeks, but but only spent maybe 5 days with her. took her with me to bangkok. I don't plan on her staying for a month just a couple weeks. I guess if we get along great she could stay longer but i work late hours and she would be alone for that time. not looking to get married but i'm sure it would make my father happy if i did

Not sure where to post so please move to the right section please ( MM , Glyn ) Got back home a couple of weeks ago from thailand and I'm having a hard time getting over the fact i can't come again till next year. I really hit it off with a bargirl i met back in May and had a great time with her on this trip. Being I only get 3 weeks off a year and i can't even get all 3 off in one go, I have an idea to bring Thailand to me. Since i have 1 week vacation left for the year ( sad i know ) I'm thinking of having her come visit me here in Canada. I really enjoy her company and I think it would be fun to show her around here ( day trips and stuff) Also i think she would enjoy the vacation too. Her english is good and so is her sister's, the sister has done visa stuff before ( bf in USA) so she could help with that NOT looking to sponcer her or anything since i can only go once a year and I'm not into the "timeshare" thing. So what does PT think? Am I a fucking idiot and it will only cause problems for me OR should i go for it since it could be fun for me and her? Advice is appreciated along with anyone's personal experience with this. Thanks

I don't bother with the buses much anymore, i'm loving the motor taxis, for a bit more baht and there way faster. If i do take a bus it's with my bf's of the evening and i'm paying the taxi price anyways but i get the girls to negotiate for me.

I didn't really notice any of them except for in Baccara, i was on the 2nd floor sitting with my girls and i noticed 12 guys coming up the stairs all brush cuts and in pretty good physical condition. They also all wore the same white t-shirt with some design on the back. They couldn't find seating for all of them so they left. Other than that i did not notice them.

Had dinner there a couple - three weeks ago, had a burger, was okay but not what i was used to from my last trip in, also i got my food 10 mins before everyone, then two more got there food but the fourth person in our party had to wait 30-35 after i had my food brought. just bad waiting. Still like the place great location

i only remember the cafeteria style place too, it was horrible with flies on everything. the food sucked but the gardens where beautiful. go for the scenery not the food.

I brought cash with me and it works fine but i did notice the 50's and 100's usd get about the same as the canadian dollar but no point in exchanging. never used a travllers cheque so i can't help you there.

I agree with lovedog but see both sides of it. What his post comes down to is that he's the one with the gold so he makes the rules. That the real rule anywhere. i'll use my personal life for the example. i'm in the auto retail industry and the vast majority of my customers speak english (i live in canada) so does my sales staff. however we have a growing rate of "new people" customers who don't speak english very well. Should i tell them tough titties learn to speak english before buying a car? some might not me, i have a great muslim salesman who speaks several middle eastern lang and the muslim customers are very happy to deal with him casue there spending thousands of dollars and want to know what there getting, i also have a white salesman who speaks manderin and deals with most of our chinses customers and we have alot of them. Plus i just hired a very good friend of mine who speaks perfect spanish. pretty rare for me to have a customer that dosent speak one of those langs. how does this tie in? Well i want there money so it's alot easier with people who speak there langs like a bargirl who speaks great english or okay english it makes everything alot more fun and your involved. Or if an american buisness man goes to china and wants there money for x bet your ass there speaking chinese and vice versa. Last time i checked lovedog is american and speaks english since he`s fliping the bill and paying them in some way they should include him if he wants them to. who cares about thai culture (in reguards to this subject) and what there husbands do. If ld wants to be in the conversation it behouves them to speak english if they want his money. plus where in pattaya a tourist city not some villiage in Issan. they should speak english . BUt it doesn`t bother, for the most of them i could care less what there saying i just want them to play with dick. I think it's a great deal and I love the place but I am a newbie. I am young only 24 but I have tons of experience with the asian escorts here in Toronto. When i see what i get for my vacation money in thailand and compare with other mongering countries it seems thailand comes out on top. BUT i do have the luxury of using company airmiles for my flights. Then there's the fact that I rarely drink and yes i got heckled all time for ordering water so i have a lot more to spend on the girls because my check bins are pretty low. I see myself coming here for a very long time unless my $ drops so much it would be cheaper to stay at home. But i guess I'm still seeing everything as a star eyed newbie. If Pattaya is getting old or boring for you the just spread your wings and try a new mongering country

when i was in pattaya i found the ones in groups that get very loud and aggressive are young english lads but i don't recall seeing any groups of young americans. On a positive note i didn't see one physical confrontation the whole trip. But I'm sure any group of young guys that are drunk will act like assholes doesn't matter if there english, american, canadian or african it's what young people do.

Don't worry Brat pack I will be there in late January to make my controbution. I budget about 10K baht per day not including hotel. I don't drink a lot but i find i spend a lot on food as i prefer western food. Somedays i'm over budget and other days I'm under. I guess i live I live like a "KING" if i want it i buy it or fuck it. I don't let a silly thing like money ruin my holiday, You spend so much getting there why cheap out when you arrive? that's directed at the 2-3 week tourist not ex pats or guys who stay for months.
