  1. Thanks Joe, doing all that mate but nothing! It was alright up to yesterday. FWIW, I am using Firefox at work, IE at home.
  2. The "view new content" option is kaput at this end. Since last visit, 24 hours, last week, etc, all showing "no new entries." Also what happened to the post on the guy wanting to walk to WS from Pratmanak (sp?) Soi 5. Saw it yesterday on the mobile but can't find it now. Cheers
  3. Just had a peek and some good laughs. Well done Tommy. Will try to listen to it in its entirety tonight.
  4. ANA from Tokyo, especially now that they have a midnight flight from Haneda (central Tokyo), rather than the two-hour journey to that great fooking white elephant Narita! Second choice is Singapore Airlines.
  5. How do you blank out avatars for those of us having a discreet look at the site while at work?
  6. Give em a little time lads to iron out the bugs. I reckon it's alright! Well done MM and techies. The big fonts are easy on my blind eyes.
  7. Still reckon the "VIP" area of Samui Airport is hard to beat ...
  8. Is Free Drop still in play? Good luck with the new venture.
  9. LMAO there amigo.
  10. Thought that was the "Handsome Man" statue for a while ...
  11. Yeah and we've got plenty of guys who'd pay that for a round of drinks. So what's your point? Why discourage people from posting? If it's not your cup of tea just move on mate.
  12. COME ON STOKE! Hopefully Etherington and Huth are fit to play. Europe here we come! Look out Barcelona!
  13. Never had baked beans or egg salad with ribs myself ...
  14. More importantly, he needs to putt well.
  15. The Europeans are over-hyped for this Masters! Dustin Johnson, Mahan, Couples, Badds, Byrd.
  16. A teacher at an international school in Tokyo was teaching in Bangkok prior to coming to Japan. She asked her students how their weekend was, and a Thai boy answered: "We went to Hong Kong in our plane." "That's nice Sam but you should say 'in a plane' next time," the teacher corrected. "But teacher, it is our plane, daddy owns it," the kid shot back. There are some very wealthy Thais around, and Filipinos for that matter.
  17. Wasn't always that way Rick. Some 20 odd years back when I had the dreadlocks Brits were rather rare, now every punter you meet is a Pommie and worst still, they all love cricket! COONTS
  18. Thanks Stargazer, so what's the charge for the steaks in this 2-for-1 promotion? (Apologies if it was mentioned earlier) And is the meat from Oz or Japan? The wagyu I get here in Tokyo is normally fed on a strict diet of Sapporo Beer, some Hakaisan sake, and the odd few grains of grass!
  19. Just to clarify, does "500 day long" refer to 500 baht?
  20. Agreed! Will give it a try next time in Banggers.
  21. Hopefully it's heading toward Adelaide as we are royal and truelly rooted in the cricket!!!
  22. At least we'll be able to watch the Qatar Premier League live on cable now! What a fucking joke FIFA is awarding the WC to a "country" of 1.5 million people. About time the real world held their own World Cup. The whole FIFA "vote" system is flawed and open to abuse.
  23. Nice trip report! Enjoy the party.
  24. It's a nine hole course ideal for practice. All par-3s. http://www.thaigolfer.com/courses/course.phtml?id=162 Here's some feedback. http://www.thaigolfer.com/courses/viewcomment.phtml?id=162 Location: http://www.asiahotel.co.th/asia_pattaya.htm BTW, this hotel is very guest unfriendly, not the place to stay for a monger.
  25. The short course at The Asia Hotel up near the Birds and the Bees Resort, a mere 5 mins drive from Walking Street, is probably the closest and Kinaree is just up the road! For a full size course Pheonix is about 30 mins away.
