  1. P72 does decent food at a reasonable price with views of the street scene. Pattaya Beer Garden also does fine food at decent prices with superb sea views.
  2. Smelly, I'm confused. In your opening post said, you said "and since this forum (and others) was such a helpful source of info". That would seem to indicate that you weren't new to this forum. No flies on you CT. VT6 joint looks the goods, though, and very close to Sky Slops too.
  3. Agree, I mean what's all this bikini bollocks? Where's the flesh? No sex please, we're in Thailand! The site is a little confusing DW but I may give the VT6 joint a try next time. Lovely views and a short stroll to the soapies! Could even order a takeaway with me kebab!
  4. You couldn't climb over a clit last time I saw ya!
  5. Give you a call later in the week mate. How about Friday? I'll have my dole check then.
  6. Paps and Arno, everyone has their favorites, but on my recent trip to Patts, Mistys was my pick of the Gogos. Was the place "heavin" every night? Not quite but most nights had a good crowd when I was in there and our group had a blast. Best looking birds? Probably not, but there was something for everyone and I certainly enjoyed the interaction. Barfined a range of burds: Torpedeo Tits, Beer Goggle Betty , "I Go Suckhon" and best of all "Uncle Arfur" on the last night. I'm not into the shows much but if that floats your boat, sit yourself near the main stage and enjo
  7. G'day Pete, was in the PBG several times a few weeks back. Place looks great and the views are suberb. Loved it mate. Ordered several Thai dishes on different days and the food came out very promptly and was very tasty. A couple of suggestions: The tables out the back left near the Buddha statue are popular for the views but are very dark and the candles don't do a very good job of lighting the area. This ain't such a problem if you're just having a drink but many like to see their food so they can avoid gulping down the chillies. How about some better lighting around those ou
  8. Which is what I'm trying to do, so your point is? No one here parties with the president of Thai Airlines? Times have certainly changed ...
  9. My fellow boardies, I'm an ANA member using mileage on this trip but as I wanted to fly via LOS on my way to Sydney from Tokyo I teamed up with Star Alliance partner TG on the BKK/SYD return leg. I fly back next Tuesday from SYD to BKK and wanted to stay 2-3 days in LOS before flying back to Tokyo with TG. When I booked the flights ANA said I only could have a stopover on one leg so I had six days in LOS on the way over. ANA says on the return I can't stopover for longer than 24 hours. Why they have such a killjoy rule is beyond me as what's it really matte
  10. Like any bar, some nights are gonna be better than others, but I've never had a bad night in Catz and best of all I return in two weeks to inspect the back office! How much are the softdrinks nowadays and are they cheaper without ice?
  11. My thoughts exactly dear Watson, someone with a grudge to grind after the caddy wouldn't look for his balls in the rough? Or maybe the girl didn't like getting canned after 9 holes?
  12. Without trying to be a smartass, I doubt punters will travel to the boonies for free pool alone. So what does your bar offer? PS I count four small balls (spots) in a row, can I break? Didn't you own pubs in the UK?
  13. Suggestion for big nights like Xmas, etc: Put on a buffet for the masses.
  14. A few years back a group of us had a grand time there. One fella on the cross, another, er, ... 'mate', strung up like a turkey for Xmas. It's a night out, not your local 7-11. Some girls also do out calls I hear ... A good place for a group to have a laugh.
  15. Jan's a great driver and the beers on ice for the passenger go down smooth as well. All the best.
  16. Thanks for the informative post. Getting hungry!
  17. Bad hey? Any recommendations Tom for similar area and price?
  18. Got a newbie mate heading to BKK for work. He's booked in to the Windsor Park Suites on Soi 20. Is it guest friendly? I did a search and couldn't find much. I would have recommended he stay somewhere upamarket like the Nana Hotel. Thanks
  19. Good one Terry, couple of ring ins there in the winning team ... one reportedly should be sailing off Spain. Any word from the bunkers on the troops? Last seen hamming it up in Hua Hin I believe. Priceless photo there as the chairman rides off into the sunset ...
  20. Cheers Pete for another honest update. Good luck with it all. BTW, where's Mikey's Vodka?
  21. Happy 65th Lobin. Bring out the dancing elephant! Have a good one Amigo!
  22. Fook, I've seen flatter ski fields! Would make a wicked putt-putt course. Thanks again.
  23. Some brilliant pics there Frosty, but WTF is the first one? A three-way green? I can see some guys have been working out of late with all those tight shirts. Perhaps some Size Ms next time Callum? So who won? Let me guess Taxi, Hub, Ian and Vampire Steve? Fine looking course and club house.
