  1. Guys, was club managment ever held accountable for the financial collapse of Leeds? Anyone face embezzlement charges? Good luck on the road back up.
  2. Good effort Martin. Trust the day was a success.
  3. Come on guys, it's been all of 27 minutes? No putt off up the sheep shiter between Ian and Matt I hope.
  4. I can predict a bit of "Air Rage" in seats 57 G and H on party night! Congrats Lobin and Lobert, two of the finest hosts in Pattaya. Sorry I can't be there, still cherish the memories from the opening night. All the best for future success.
  5. There is this Thursday's lotto. Cross-fingers. All lubbed here mate ... for this week anyhow.
  6. What rugby Steveo? I was practising for the Dhaka Dongers Egg and Spoon Ashes Challenge -- four laps around the stage at Catz with Mourn on defense! So despite all the hoo haa from the Pommies, when the dust settled still no one has won the Rugby WC more than Oz, and we've had a wheel-chair team as powerful as Kleenex tissues for about 8 years now. BTW Dhakas, Saigon Butterfly is a handy partner, very tidy around the greens and can find a fairway. Needs to work on his sledging, especially when Dodgie has one of those testing two-footers for a half ... and l
  7. Sorry to say that Tomo and I can't make the golf extravaganza as well this time. Just have too much going on at the the moment and little time to myself. Was looking forward to meeting up with all the lads and Doggie's regular dosing of "dung-attracting" sun spray. Good luck Team America. See yas all in 2050 or in Tokyo. Depressed Dunghie
  8. Good to see you bounce back so quick Bob. Best of luck with the new location.
  9. For all the reasons mentioned above your first move should be to find a good lawyer. Cost you a few bob but in the long run, priceless. No shortage of foreigners with successful businesses in LOS. Just need to work with the right people.
  10. Fine looking stable there Alf, will drop by in November.
  11. Good to see that the 50 Thai bahts I sent via Best Buffalo International Courier arrived on time!!! BANZAI!
  12. Enjoy your 28th birthday young Derek. NO, not the midnight special! "Soft on Demand" have the filming rights? Have a great party Callum, see ya soon mate. Mourn will give you my present.
  13. Guys, need to get from Tokyo to Auckland in early November for my dad's 70th. Was thinking of going via Thailand, as you do ... Will fly ANA on leg to BKK. Trouble is Thai Air is quoting around US$1,000 for the BKK/AKL return leg. Anyone know any deals or a good travel agent in LOS? Ideally want to fly direct but will tolerate KL or Singapore stopover if worth my while. Thanks
  14. Can verify that both Marriott's in BKK and the Pattaya one are guest friendly. Hear the odd story of guards trying to scam punters at the Pattaya Marriott. A smile and small tip to your favorite guard could buy a lot of weight. If pain persists, demand to speak to the general manager. Four-five star hotels don't make it a habit to piss off their guests.
  15. Seems like my sort of place, I can even wear me Hawaiian shirts! Will drop by next trip Alf, promise.
  16. Greg, Daz used to stay there. I checked it out once. Clean rooms, not huge, decent pool. Walk could be a pain in the arse for you but give it a try.
  17. Yes it was a great night two year's back Hub when us Yanks won. Just goes to show that Euros don't know how to party. George, BTW, no one forced you to pay the excessive barfine did they?
  18. Dunghie Plays for the US Someone has to stay out drinking after 10 pm on Sunday while Big Kev and all the other softies are getting their beauty sleep. Size L Official handicap 24. Taxi???? Pedro? 18-can Steve? Hub? Little Kev? Fornicator? Come on lads don't be shy ... No Bundy please.
  19. Beer Lao in bottles is a fine drop.
  20. Jacko, what I'm saying is if you have a retirement or work visa why do you have to bugger off cross border for a renewal? You sure this is right? There have been several cases in the not too distant past where guys on tourist visas were denied re-entry cause of too many stamps in the passport, or some other trivial excuse. The crim on the run statement referred to the way I would feel.
