Mate, just saw this now. Travel agents in Japan are generally not that cheap compared to booking direct with the airlines, unless in offpeak times where they sometimes have some bargain tours but always read the fine print as some of the departure and arrival times are bizarre. Most also don't take credit card. I always find for a few thousand yen more you're better off booking direct with the airline as you can book online, request seats, pay with credit card, etc. Unless you book real early, or are using the second leg of an open ticket, it's best to avoid traveling overseas fro

The way the yen is going, Japanese tourist prices will get you a shack and a bucket of water for a shower. My favorite has always been the Hyatt for its leafy setting and oasis feel. Even if you don't stay there it's a great spot to chill on an afternoon at the pool bar. No trouble using the facilties either. Apart from the cost the only downside is it's a little bit away from the main strip. If you want location it's hard to beat the Hilton. I'm no expert but there seems a shortage of mid-range joints in a good location. Either top end stuff or guests houses.

Thanks Nidnoyham. Always give me a laugh nowadays when players kiss their emblem ... only to fuck off to the next club for a few extra pounds in the summer. Surprised there's not more of a public uproar in England about a "league" effectively being reduced to 3-4 mega-rich teams.
