  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c4gex01m7n5t The effects are being felt across Thailand and buildings have collapsed in Bangkok.
  3. Nobody said it was - I was just explaining why we don't close threads on request, that's all.
  4. Unless a thread is going pear shaped or is a duplicate of another, we don't close them. Forums are dynamic and any thread can be commented on at any time, even years later.
  5. Perhaps you would like to explain a bit more about you and the case, to avoid further speculation? You may be more successful in your quest rather than everyone speculating about who was convicted for what.

  7. Juicy!!! 😜
  8. You get what you pay for these days. Does he need checked baggage? Can he just take a 'carry-on?'
  9. Yep, just a bit further down the road towards the beach. I missed the first few as they kind of snuck up on me!!
  10. They were picking up bikes on Beach Road about lunchtime
  11. Not very clear at all this morning. The last picture would normally show the islands!!
  12. I think we're both bored! 🤣
  13. Do you need a licence or permissions to fly your drone in Thailand? Nice pics, by the way 😀

  15. You must have a lot of patience to inject each of the ants!!!! 🤣
  16. Ok, the POCA isn't relevant in this case. That is only relevant if there is a suspicion you have committed a crime and just carrying money isn't suspicious (unless it's tucked in your sock and you have drugs plugged somewhere!). The relevant authority for carrying cash abroad is as shown in my link. If he is questioning you about carrying a few thousand, you can genuinely state its to pay for accommodation and spending money and that doesn't require justifying with bank statements or ATM receipts. It's classed as an acceptable amount. Over £10,000 would not be looked upon as an acceptable leve
  17. I'm sorry, I don't follow you. The link I posted shows it to be £10,000. it makes no mention of £1,000. I don't get what you mean when you tell me I'm referring to paper declaration limits? I'm talking about currency notes, what else am I referring to? If you could post a link to your figure of £1,000 , it might help?
  18. https://www.gov.uk/bringing-cash-into-uk Yep - @10,000 🤓
  19. I thought they were only interested if over £10,000 undeclared?
  20. Have you considered View Talay 6? Right next door to Central Festival and between 2nd road and Beach Road. I've stayed there for periods between 2-4 weeks and has good views towards Walking Street side, the other side faces onto the Hilton and Central Festival. https://www.honeyscoffeehouse.com
