  1. There isn't really a Misty's site anymore. The owners gave up posting pix of the girls because they would immediately get flooded with emails with marriage proposals. I'm not kidding. Misty's used to try to maintain an online presence but has since given up, as apparently the owners got the impression that the shut-ins who trawl the Internet for pix of Thai bar girls tend to be broke-ass paupers who whine about prices even though they have no money in their pockets to spend anyway. No idea where they got that impression
  2. Some nice ones in the mix. The gunt tattoos are a bit alarming though.
  3. There you have it Paps, you've been told. Your lack of financial solvency is not the membership's problem. I hear Micky Dee's is hiring.
  4. Pete, congratulations on a great business model that continues to do well. Paps, have you considered disability benefit fraud?
  5. Delusions, yes. Grandeur, no. Enjoy the pictures Paps, hope they keep you warm over there in Blighty. In the unlikely event that you ever get to Pattaya we will probably be drinking in different bars. No skin off my nose.
  6. All right mate. Must be a lot of Simmos running around
  7. You lucky bastard Paps, I'm going to make an exception to my rule of not replying to fools who have never been to Pattaya. You're welcome. You don't have to be "minted," but a financially challenged tourist such as yourself is unlikely to feel comfortable. The ideal candidate will be able to tell the difference between a mug of draft and the warm watery piss they serve at Peppermint, Showcase and Living Dolls. Or between a gin and tonic and the methylated drek most other bars serve. If you can't tell the difference, or 15 baht is too much to pay to get the real thing, don't set foot in Misty's. If I were that obtuse, I sure wouldn't. I continue to be unconvinced by the idea of a VIP card, though.
  8. Lord Flash, this tour sounds like something I might look up to when I get back. (Damn I can't wait to get back...!!!! ) Perth Simmo, are you by any chance the same Simmo who has been known to tip a cool one (or rather, a lukewarm one) at Oliver's in Jomtien of an early evening? Or am I thinking of someone else?
  9. Idefix, as PSP says I have no financial interest whatsoever in Misty's, never had. Though I do help with the inventory I stick up for Misty's because these are my honest views. I call them as I see 'em. I stand by my opinion of the lesbian show. I think if you'd stuck around long enough to see it you might have agreed with me. Then again, maybe not. It's just one man's opinion, albeit a very informed one. I've stated before that I see a clear trend: Most of the guys who slag Misty's on this forum have low-paying jobs or travel to Thailand on a strict budget. Those who have money to spend, tend to have a good time, and find Misty's is a lot of fun. You, Idefix, are what my statistics professor in college would have called a 'confirming instance'. In other words, you fit the trend. Lots of whining bollocks, no money in your pocket. I've seen the shows at Baby Dolls and think they're quite good, but not a patch on Misty's. But I don't drink in Baby Dolls anymore, due to a matter I've discussed with the owner and won't go into here. I don't know why some people have it in for Misty's but I've noticed a lot of the "complaints" are flat out lies -- 200 baht for a drink, etc etc. And often from guys who have never set foot in Pattaya, like Arno.
  10. Robin, Misty's prices are a little on the high side. However, when you ask for a gin and tonic, you get real gin and tonic from a fresh bottle, not methylated spirits and leftover tonic from the last punter's bottle. If you ask for Johnny Black that's what you get, not Johnny Red or some cheap piss they figure you won't notice. Unlike other places around town. Normally no need to ask as the staff know what you drink, and if you smoke they're quick with a light as well. Best lesbo show in town, absolute hands down, bar none. No competitors, not even close. Only downside is that it is frequented by beery pigs such as me.
  11. Yes, after you did, but once I got past the used part at the front they were quite fresh and lovely.
  12. Too bad I won't be in town for another two weeks! Have fun, I'll drop by your shebeen sometime in June.
  13. Good one Sunny! You always were a dab hand with a daguerrotype.
  14. The reason why I luuurve Rockinjerry so much is that I've fucked all three of the girls in his avatar.
  15. Sounds great. Throw in a studio condo on the beach and I'm in!
  16. Which is presumably different from the "spooning" you and Arno get up to.
  17. For those not aware, "cousin" is Arno, still posting from his mom's basement in Amsterdam. Arno has never been to Pattaya.
  18. Has it ONLY been a year? The place is such a regular haunt for me it seems like it's been on the soi forever. I'll try to make it back in time, Paul, I'd hate to see all my fave waitresses go thirsty on the big day. By the way, you might consider taking another pic of the Club Mistys front wall, or 'shop the construction detritus out of it.
  19. That place used to be a lot of fun. Not surprised it's closed though, the location makes no sense at all.
  20. Indeed Sir K, a lot of the members of this board are highly financially challenged, and can only afford to come to Thailand once a year, if that. Having no other life, they spend all their time accessing this and other monger sites from their mums' basements, and having no money, constantly complain about prices. The only bright side is that without the Interwebs these same lads would probably be out drinking cooking sherry and puking into bushes at four in the morning. So I guess in a way it's good they're here.
  21. Pete, you've got game, that's for sure! If that doesn't grab people's attention nothing will. If I was there I'd camp out all night, but no idea when I'll be back from Japan yet I may be forced to purchase my beer at the usual reasonable price! :)
  22. Irish Rovers, good luck with your venture, and may I say what a fine tribute to a great Canadian band. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer
  23. Look forward to meeting you, Mr. President!
  24. Butch I will be in Pattaya at least part of June, might be in Canada for part of it but not if I can avoid it. Look forward to seeing you there and will buy you one even if it costs me an extra 15 baht to do so Oh wait I have a job! OK, no worries I think I can swing it
