Hi, Yeah the quickest way is just to bring the hard drive with you. It can be connected to a new PC you get in LOS. You will retain all the progams etc which are stored on it. Or you can get someone in LOS to copy the data on to the hard drive within new PC and retain the other hard drive as a backup for your programs if the other drive crashes.
