A guided tour of the Rockhouse
poskat replied to mulphy's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
I can report on the rooms as being very nice (and extememely quiet even through the bar stereo is nice and loud) and big. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower was pretty poor, even though they had a guy there twice to work on it. I stayed a week at the Rockhouse in the middle of june. The girls who work there are all nice and some very cute and do-able (I did). There is a restaurant across the soi that has excellent falang food, I had a great lamb shank and crepes suzette for dessert made at the table. Lolitas being a few doors down was also nice and convenient. I'd stay ther -

Report from The Nation dated Thursday 5 April 2007 :- Bangkok Airways cuts fares ===================== Bangkok Airways has slashed fares 40 per cent for the low season. "The cut in ticket prices is considered the first-ever pricing strategy that the airline has adopted to boost domestic traffic in the summer season, which is not the travelling period of foreign tourists," CEO Prasert Prasaththong-osoth said yesterday. The campaign running until June will, for example, drop ticket prices for the Bangkok-Koh Samui route to Bt2,300 per segment and Bt3,000 for the Bangkok-Sie

Pattaya is for visiting and fucking hot girl for money, not looking at them and giving them money. The more money they get for table/lap dancing, the less they will go out. Your most stupid/clueless idea yet.

LAX or SFO to BKK $754. No miles acrued. http://www.cathay-usa.com/dotm/dotm.asp?CM...ws&ATT=dotm

If you bought your tickets on-line, you had to join the "Evergreen Club". You need to log in at the EVA website and you can see all the info about getting miles redeemed and the number needed (20K for west coast to Taipei). If you buy Evergreen Delux class you get 125% of the miles, and more if in business class. The Tiapei lounge is good w/ free food and drinks, including beer and booze. There is also a shower available to use, but I haven't tried it yet.

the times I have had it right there for them to look at, they have tossed it aside like "why are you showing me this" and if I don't have it ready they ask "where is it?"!

Availability of Accomodation in Early November
poskat replied to BritMonkey's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
if you have been to Patts already and have some places in mind just make the bookings and get it over with. Do you really want to spend your time looking at hotels to go to while you're there? -
It's only a bit over an hour flight from BKK to Koh Samui. I flew from US to BKK and then directly to KS on my first trip to Thailand, wanting to go to Kao Tao, just as you do. It was a few hours until the flight BKK to KS, so the added time of the trip really isn't all that much. I would just do it all at once and not lose a night just to sleep in BKK, then have to go to the airport etc. Plus I doubt a night stay in BKK would be all that "restful"!!

Taxi to Pattaya from Sukhumvit Road (BKK)
poskat replied to Nakaleen's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
anything your hotel arranges will be too expensive. As said above you can just ask cabs on the street to take you to Pattaya for 1200-1300B. Offer them this price first, don't ask them "How much to Pattaya?". -
