look in the "Made in Thailand" complex of booths on Second Road a bit above Kiss. Most of the places in there have XXL and above sizes on offer.

cough up the extra few hundred for Evegreen Deluxe. It is well worth it for the leg room and space between passengers.

I'll be in Los from Feb1-23. I want to spend a few days week in Pattaya towards the end of the time. Have the crowds dropped off by them to be able to play it by ear, or should I make more firm plans?

I have never had a girl avoid going to the Nana with me. See if you can get a Deluxe room when you go. I aways stay there my first few days in BKK. One night almost 1AM I decided to get some action from the disco downstairs. I never even made it in as I saw a cutie on my walk from the elevator to the entrance. "Hi, want to to go upstairs shorttime?" "OK".

I have followed World Cup football since '74 when I was in Munich at the time. Big sports events like this are great ice breakers with the guys in the bars. I spent a good bit of time watching rugby on my last trip, with the guys watching getting me up to speed on the rules. I would stay in a bar showing a game versus one that didn't.

There is nothing wrong with the Big Ten a ref's whistle couldn't cure for UNC last night

I agree that MSU poses some big problems for UNC. If Wisconsin had 1 big scoring threat they could have won that game. MSU has the inside -outside combo to take UNC. Plus they are deadly at the foul line. Missing key foul shots was what doomed Kentucky when they had a chance to put the game away.

Deron Williams earned himself some big bucks last night. He totaly shut down Staudimier and hit many clutch 3 point shots. To come back from 15 points down with 4 min to play is really shows the Illini have the heart of a champion. The Louisville-IL came should be a classic. The 'Ville showed how athletic they are in their own 20 point comeback gainst the Mountaineers. With Garcia fouled out, O'Bannon took the team on his shoulders and also refused to lose. today it should be UNC and Kentucky coming out on top. I put a bracket entry on espn.com and I'm in the top 2%. Too bad that ranks me at 60,000. But still ok out of 2.8 million. I filled it out right before the games started, and saw that you can put together groups of friends. I'll set one up for us next year. http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/html/view?e...yIDFrom=1971646

'Nova got ripped off last night. They had UNC on the ropes and the refs gave UNC the game. My bracket said UNC but as a Philly boy my heart cried 'Nova. But 'Nova could have won if they had gotten the ball inside to Fraser some in the 2nd half and fouled May out. Can Wisconsin play ugly enough ball so slow down UNC? i think the gloss is off the Tar Heels today. The difficulty that MSU faces with Kentucky is that the Cats have 2 teams, the starters and the bench who are literally interchangable. They just keep coming with waves of fresh legs that wear the other team down in the second half ala Cincy. I pick Kentucky to meet Louisville in the final game Arizona was lucky to beat OSU. OSU stopped going inside to Graham who was overpowering A's inside guys. The slowdown to kill some clock resulted in bad last second shots that allowed 'Zona back in. As a current Chitown guy, I like the Illini to win today. The inside guys Augustine/Powell/Ingrim will neutralize 'Zona's big guys and it's up to I's guards to slow Stuadimire down enuff to win. Louisville looks unstoppable to me. they are my pick to win it all.

Trotter will be stuffing Corey Dillon at the line like he did to Warrick Dunn for the Falcons. Brian Dawkins will lay some bone jarring hits on the Pats recievers. Brady will be blitzed on his ass more than a few times. TO is back in the lineup for the Birds and will draw enough attention to open it up for Westbrook out of the backfield. When all else fails, McNabb will run for the first down. Eagles will win with an Ackers field goal.

My original post was for flights from London to BKK. I will be in London for a research meeting and will go to LOS from there. The University is absolutely inflexible in doing a RTW ticket with me paying my part since I will be using federal grant money for this trip. My actual question was if, as time drew nearer to the date, I could expect to find a better fare as airlines try to fill unsold seats. My thinking was that people who will travel make their plans(non-mongers) earlier on, and not in a more last minute fashion. poskat

I used this last Oct, it was on sale post-SARSfor $699. the whole trip must be booked before you start, but you can change the dates for a fee. All trips must be RT from HK. poskat

Thanks for the responses guys. Since I'm travelling to London on business, they are picking up the Chicago to London round trip. So i just need to get the London to BKK ticket. I just found out about this trip Monday and want to take advantage of cutting off a lot of hours of flight time I'd have from ORD-BKK. Tom- thanks for your idea but I work for a university and they are inflexible on that idea. And I didn't consider the child fare issue. I plan to call Trailfinders. From what I've read here and on other boards they sound like the best options, unless anyone has another specific suggestion. poskat

My travel dates are depart London July 21/22 to return from bkk aug 12-14. So I don't fit the KLM deal. In fact I don't fit any "special" deals it seems . So that's my question, will any deals come up later for high-season travel? poskat

I just found out that I'll be travelling from Chicago( where I live) to London for business in mid July. I looked at flights from London at that time ( to travel 21/7 to 12/13/14/8) and they are in high season rates . All "special" deals I see are for travel prior to July. Can I expect any lower fares to become available later? Will some airlines drop some fares to sell off any remaining seats, or should I just get the best deal I can find right now? I've looked on many "travel".co.uk sites but haven't yet called any agencies like trailfinders, westeast, etc. Any suggestions? poskat
