Within reason and by adopting reasonable precautions, I can't think of anywhere in Pattaya that I have felt unsafe. However, I couldn't say that for some of the non-Thai ethnic areas in Bangkok that I will not go.

You miss the point. I've seen nothing so far that includes the fibre-optic and other cables in the equation and I'm not interested in anyone's 'expectations'. What I'm asking is if anyone knows if those cables have been included in the planning. After all we are talking about Thailand. Yes 5G is another issue, but f-all to do with what I'm asking, as it may impact on people's internet access now and just not in the future.
