  1. I am taking a side trip to Cambodia next time out and wonder what suggestions you have for middle of the road accommodation in PP and SR? Just reasonable id fine and in the action area. Thanks in advance
  2. I often read about dental procedures here but wonder if anyone has had dentures made? I have a partial plate that is ready to scrap and wonder if anyone has had a dental plate made in Patts, the time it took, price and satisfaction rating.
  3. Thanks Adam. These bring back great memories and of course make me want to rush back. They are in other words having the desired effect!
  4. Get there and walk down soi 7 and back up soi 8 and take your pick. Takes an hour to drop in, check the rooms and pools and negotiate a price.
  5. Thanks and appreciated. I have not yet got up to Chaiang Mai but its on the list and your commentry is apppreciated.
  6. Have to tell you Adam that these are a bit of a mixed blessing. I can see some of your ladies that I have spent ‘quality time’ with and I am not sure that perhaps I am a bit jealous about the whole thing! Having said that it really is great that months after being there the memories flood back when I see a good old Cherry Bar hoolie under way. Best wishes to you and the team.
  7. Thanks Adam. Bugger! missed another one but the pixes still bring back great memories.
  8. We already have a shameless promotion link? I Think!
  9. Thanks Adam. Didnt know that there was such a thing and I see a pix of my sweetheart on the site. Can you pass a message onto the ladies for us?

  12. Agreed Adam. Your slipping! Any of Tuks?
  13. Great place. Is there any local hotel/motel that will allow us to use their pswimming pool even if we have to pay for it?
  14. Hi Adam. Please pass my best wishes onto Tuk. As you might recall shes a favourite of mine. J
  15. Thanks Adam. I really am missing the place. Give my best to "My Ladies" please and tell them that I will be back as soon as I can.
  16. Any pictures top post of the 18th?
  17. Gotta be fair with this one. I am at the Sunbeam now and have a rennovated rtoom and its fine as is all the facilities. Certainy not a 'shithole'.
  18. There are 3 Eastiny Hotels, 2 in 8 and one in 7. All are reasonable and at least on par with the Sunshine. The only other option is the 2 Flippers. There are web sites and reviews foir all of these.
  19. Tha problem with the Sunbeam is that it is hit and miss. Some of the rooms are great with fine views and in room safe. Some are to the back and a bit dark and have no safe and if you book as a single you could well get a single bed. The other problem is that it charges a 500 Baht jpoiner fee. .
  20. Thanks for that web site Jack.
  21. This place is well situated in Central Road and appears to have a pool etc but I cannot find a recent report on it. Has anyone got anything to report. I realise that this is a hotel at the cheaper end of the scale.
  22. Hi there all. I just got this from Murrys and felt that it would be of interest. If you come to Thailand from abroad I think you will go to Suvannabhumi airport (BKK) not Don Muang (DMG) Here is our bus schedule from Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya: 8.00/10.00/12.00/14.00/16.00/18.00. The fare is 150 baht per person per trip and it shall be paid to our staff upon your arrival. This fare includes transportation to your hotel (downtown Pattaya area). At the airport, our staff will be waiting for you on 1st Floor gate#7 next to Tourist Police counter, holding "Pattaya - Bell Travel Service" sign. Then, she will lead you to the bus which is parked right outside the terminal. Her contact number is +66(0)89-449-8843. Our company also provides the transportation from Pattaya to Bangkok. Here is the bus schedule from Pattaya: it starts at 6.00 am, 9.00 am and every 2 hours until 19.00 pm. Your destination can be either to Suvarnabhumi airport, Don Muang airport or hotels in Bangkok. There are only 3 departure times that have connecting transportation to hotels in Bangkok i.e. 9.00 am, 13.00 pm and 17.00 pm. Also from Bangkok hotel to Pattaya hotel, there are 3 departure times 9.30am, 1.30pm and 5.30pm from our office. You have to make reservation for mini van pick up time from your hotel. It takes about 2.30 hours to get in Pattaya. The fare to Suvarnabhumi is 150 baht/trip/person, to Don Muang airport is 350 baht/trip/person and to hotels in Bangkok is 300 baht/trip/person. These fares include pick-up and drop-off services from your hotel to your destination. It would be great if you could reserve seat at least 7 days in advance via this e-mail. All we need are your name, no of seat to be reserved, date & time of your traveling and your hotel destination. If you have planed for your return trip, you may reserve the seat at the same time. Then I will arrange the transportation for you We look forward to servicing you soon. And if you have more questions, please feel free to contact me via this e-mail. 23. Try the Mandarin across the road (2nd Road that is) from Soi 8
  24. I have had some great offers for low cost transfers from the new airport to Pattaya and back but there seems to be nothing from Don Muang. Has anyone used this airport recently and have any low cost transport options to share? I will be coming in from Phuket.
  25. Cheap Eats are good in Patts if you like that sort of thing. Try KISS on Second Road. I eat there almost daily.
