  1. Get there and walk down soi 7 and back up soi 8 and take your pick. Takes an hour to drop in, check the rooms and pools and negotiate a price.
  2. Thanks and appreciated. I have not yet got up to Chaiang Mai but its on the list and your commentry is apppreciated.
  3. Have to tell you Adam that these are a bit of a mixed blessing. I can see some of your ladies that I have spent ‘quality time’ with and I am not sure that perhaps I am a bit jealous about the whole thing! Having said that it really is great that months after being there the memories flood back when I see a good old Cherry Bar hoolie under way. Best wishes to you and the team.
  4. Thanks Adam. Bugger! missed another one but the pixes still bring back great memories.
  5. Thanks Adam. Didnt know that there was such a thing and I see a pix of my sweetheart on the site. Can you pass a message onto the ladies for us?
  6. Thanks Adam. Missed this one but it looked a blast.

  8. Agreed Adam. Your slipping! Any of Tuks?
  9. Great place. Is there any local hotel/motel that will allow us to use their pswimming pool even if we have to pay for it?
  10. Hi Adam. Please pass my best wishes onto Tuk. As you might recall shes a favourite of mine. J
  11. Thanks Adam. I really am missing the place. Give my best to "My Ladies" please and tell them that I will be back as soon as I can.
  12. Gotta be fair with this one. I am at the Sunbeam now and have a rennovated rtoom and its fine as is all the facilities. Certainy not a 'shithole'.
  13. There are 3 Eastiny Hotels, 2 in 8 and one in 7. All are reasonable and at least on par with the Sunshine. The only other option is the 2 Flippers. There are web sites and reviews foir all of these.
  14. Tha problem with the Sunbeam is that it is hit and miss. Some of the rooms are great with fine views and in room safe. Some are to the back and a bit dark and have no safe and if you book as a single you could well get a single bed. The other problem is that it charges a 500 Baht jpoiner fee. .
  15. This place is well situated in Central Road and appears to have a pool etc but I cannot find a recent report on it. Has anyone got anything to report. I realise that this is a hotel at the cheaper end of the scale.
  16. Hi there all. I just got this from Murrys and felt that it would be of interest. If you come to Thailand from abroad I think you will go to Suvannabhumi airport (BKK) not Don Muang (DMG) Here is our bus schedule from Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya: 8.00/10.00/12.00/14.00/16.00/18.00. The fare is 150 baht per person per trip and it shall be paid to our staff upon your arrival. This fare includes transportation to your hotel (downtown Pattaya area). At the airport, our staff will be waiting for you on 1st Floor gate#7 next to Tourist Police counter, holding "Pattaya -
  17. I have had some great offers for low cost transfers from the new airport to Pattaya and back but there seems to be nothing from Don Muang. Has anyone used this airport recently and have any low cost transport options to share? I will be coming in from Phuket.
  18. Cheap Eats are good in Patts if you like that sort of thing. Try KISS on Second Road. I eat there almost daily.
  19. Thanks Staurty. I might give that a try next time.
  20. Any suggestions for this one? Its a combination of location, room quality, swimming pol availability and guest friendly attitudes. I will start the ball rolling with the Eastiny, Soi 8 which was 950B this time last year but I am unsure what it is this.
  21. Hi there. I am having a few days in Phuket and arrive back in Bk on the 11th at 2.15 pm and want to go directly to Patts. Anyone in the are at the same time?
