  1. Yes. Trying to poach other bars girls then putting up a stupid sign to stop the comebacks.
  2. A new sign has appeared on the doors of the soon to be opened Coyotee a gogo. "Bar owners please respectfully ask for permission to enter" I know what this aimed at as i've spent the day with all concerned but after seeing this myself i've decided that i will not be going in there. I think this is a very rude and stupid thing to do and i'm wondering who they think they are. I've posted this purposely to get a reaction from it BTW. Cheers
  3. I was talking with a guy i know last night who's brother is the boss/ owner there, no BS he is the guy who bought the franchise rights to use the name. It is not part of the Sheraton group, (it is'nt owned at all by the Sheraton group) and from what i've seen (only the outside so far) its gonna be very nice. It only has 180 rooms and he promises that it will knock spots off of The Royal Cliff etc, Another friend went there last week for dinner although its not open yet for a special dinner party for the owner, special guests etc, This guy himself owns alot of property including a famous restaurant here in pattaya and he said its spectacular. the decor furniture etc is beautiful etc etc. He is setting up another dinner party which i am going to so i'll fill you in when I know more.
  4. Don't worry, There will be all kinds of westerners etc in November, its the beginning of the high season, The disco's are ok, i was taking the piss about the arabs, depending on what music and crowd you like there will be something for you. Nov is a good time to come here, i'll be here so keep in touch
  5. Hi Jollyblaze. Kilkennys on Walking st is a good place, (Tell the Tim manager i sent you and he owes me a beer for it) Seriousley it has a nice comfortable atmosphere, good beer and food and its right in the middle of the action just down the road from The FLB and that blues place. As far as disco's etc goes it depends what type of things your into, Mainly thai, mainly arabs dressed up like Eminem etc. I've never been to Samui but if your going down that way its worth doing all 3= Samui, Phuket then Phi Phi. 2000bht is standard for most of the airport limo services, a bit more than some taxi's but i also prefer it to taxi's, The new airport won't be open when you arrive.
  6. I've known the owner of The Vault for a while now, In fact i used to sleep in one of the 1500bht per month rooms (the wife and her mate used to live there) that were there before he bought it and converted it.
  7. I've met a few guys like this Have'nt got money to eat or drink, BUT they've got money to buy drugs and fuck birds. I give them fuck all.
  8. He planned to go to Norway (where he is now ) for 3 months and then return to us, A week or so before he left he gave me a list of demands including a monthly salary of 85000bht + expenses. Obviousley i can't and won't pay that sort of money, Its a shame because he was great. (He also had a full years WP) The thai guy I have now worked for me previously and IMO he is the best pianist we've ever had.
  9. Sports shops in Royal Garden, Carrefour or Big C.
  10. Acha nr jomtien is the best one now. Jalfrezi is good.
  11. Make sure that you are down as a director on the company papers and have a legal agreement drawn up between you and her. For a work permit you need- 2 million capital investment. 4 thai staff. non imm b visa. a registered company. money. etc
  12. Up to you of course but give me some info on what you are doing and i'll try to give you the advice you need.
  13. Your right Pete does'nt write Nightmarch (although i think its time for someone else to take the job over as its always the bloody same = How to drink for as little cost as possible) The 2am comment means that basically the bars are paying under the table to stay open. The law is still 1am.
  14. The captains just asked me to post it. This is from the latest Pattaya Today. I've deleted The Captains name for obvious reasons. Living Dolls, The Truth IT'S A cardinal rule of journalism that both sides are necessary to provide a balanced account. As regular readers of Nightmarch (April I) will know, there have been lengthy comments regarding the fall-out between the two former partners in the Living Dolls pair of ogling dens. The article was a misrepresentation as one of the partners, Alan Ladd, supplied Nightmarch contributor Duncan Stearn with selected documents which do not represent the whole picture. . In fact, the two partners were equal partners from day one: Alan Ladd providing the initial capital and Captain Picard the expertise necessary for a successful business. One could not succeed without the other, an ideal business arrangement. Alan received back 50% of the funding within 4 months of the business formation and a format for the second club Living Dolls Showcase was implemented with the purchase of Blackout. The purchase of this bar was funded entirely by other investors who purchased shares in the company backed up by legally binding documents signed by both partners. They are not, as reported, creditors. The Hong Kong incident is well documented and the management fee for the business was indeed paid to the Captain, as he was the only person managing, for obvious reasons. During 2004 the Captain purchased shares from two of the initial shareholders and also agreed a deal to purchase Alan Ladd's father signing the relevant documents utilizing the power of attorney signed by Alan. A significant sum of money was deposited into Alan's bank account, in excess of 50% of the agreed amount, with the remainder to be paid upon receipt of signed documents prepared and sent to Perth, on his release from the Hong Kong authorities. In fact, these documents were never signed, despite an incredible amount of correspondence between the two parties, with the Captain understandably not finalizing the settlement without the security of legally owning the businesses. The Captainwas the instigator of the proposal to split the bars, not as previouslyreportedAlan. This is backedup bythe relevant documentation and, in an effort to help the two individuals, Duncan Stearn contacted Alan to arrange a meeting with the lawyers to assign the two bars to individual partners. Despite Alan's claim that this was what he wanted, he declined. I wonder why? In conclusion, the Captain has invested the majority of the capital, almost all of the time and effort, with Alan receiving back his initial investment five fold and having the opportunity to own Living Dolls I 100%, not 50% as was his initial shareholding. Not a bad deal I would suggest. One other item was mistakenly reported - that a large number of Living Doll Showcase dancing damsels have defected to LID I. This is incorrect and none have so moved. I would like to suggest that Nightmarch should stay well away from personal disputes and concentrate on reviewing the nightlife of Pattaya for the benefit of readers. Captain Picard
  15. A typical journalist/ writer so of course its one sided. Buy the new pattaya today and you'll see it. I don't care really about what Duncan writes, i've also met him on numerous occasions and he's ok and although i find Nightmarch a bit tacky at times I failed to see how printing this has any relevence on the nightlife of pattaya.
  16. Although i noticed Living doll 1 dancers with tarten uniforms last night.
  17. I'm glad people finally agree with me. As i chat to "the captain" almost everyday its obvious that there was a payment involved as to the printing of this article. I wonder if the otherside of the story will be in the next nightmarch?
  18. The captain no doubt will respond, not on here though.
  19. So, Its a nice hotel, that should'nt be a reason not to stay there. To the OP. Asia hotel is very nice, mini golf course, private beach and nice rooms, the down side is its not in walking distance to the main areas of pattaya, but its nice as its away from the main areas of pattaya which in the daytime quite frankly is horrible and dirty. Siam bayview is also a nice hotel, right in the thick of the action, 2 mins walk from the beach, but quiet enough to relax,
  20. I actually am not against the joiners fee. The person still uses the hotel facilities, water, towels etc. Why should'nt they charge? (a reasonable amount)
  21. Marriott had always claimed that there is a joiners fee. (in over 3 years anyway) my mate always stays there, he goes in through the beach rd entrance and never gets asked as he tips the security guard.
  22. The Captain knows, I'm not saying any more than that. Hopefully the next nightmarch will be more interesting.
  23. I just think Nightmarch should stick to providing customers with info regarding prices, shows, events and value for money. Not giving out private details, hanging out others persons dirty laundry and slandering bar owners. I miss Mod so much (don't even know the girl. met once and she seemed nice enough)
